    Why am I not able to vault a planter that is less than 12' high?

    Because it isn't a physics based game. It's an animation and object properties based game. They basically never added the "let the player climb over this" property to the 12" plant asset.

    +1 This is a common issue with Ubi Games. In Far Cry 4 and 5 they gave us a grappling hook which worked fine ONLY in designated grappling locations. In any of the thousands of other game world spots where a grappling hook would have worked fine in the real world you were SOL. There were innumerable issues with being unable to climbi "non designated" rocks, ledges, crates etc----all of which that were lower, or no taller, than rocks, ledges, crates and such that were "designated" as climbable. It sucks.

    And that's the issue with base jumping. If it were just a button combo you pressed and your character always jumped when you pressed it, it would be up to us to determine where is and isn't safe to jump.
