As a Nobushi and Nuxia main I struggle most against the Knight Roster. Warden, Conqueror, Vortiger, and Lawbringer requires me to absolutely perfectly, especially on Nobushi. Having to dodge or HS all these bashes and mix-ups just to punish with 1 light because if I go any further in my offense, I will either run out of stamina or get parried and get punshed with 30-40 while also being oos and if those 4 Knights choose to take the safe route and turtle I'm just screwed since I have no way of opening someone as Nobushi.

And with Nuxia I'm very afraid of Vortigers because if they are feeling cheeky they can Bulwark my deflect and punish me for punishing them. Still can't get over how her deflect can get blocked, tilts me everytime I see it. And then there's always the Raider who doesn't care what you do to him because he will just trade with hyper armor.

I’ve got a couple of mains but I mostly play Lawbringer. I’ll discuss a couple of my bad matchups:

    1. With my rep 82 Lawbringer I struggle against:
    - Tiandi
    - Conqueror
    - Warden

Most of Tiandi’s kit messes with practically everything I have. I have to heavily rely on parry punishes, but the main problem is, Tiandi can cancel so much of his **** and gets so many different properties out of his moves, probably one of the most adaptable characters in this entire game. Conqueror basically never uses any actual offensive attacks like lights and heavies, so I can’t parry ANYTHING if I’m just going to end up eating bashes and his full block guaranteed heavies. Warden is the same bash problem. Especially because warden can dodge to initiate the bash.

    2. With my rep 67 Warden I struggle against:
    - Tiandi

This mother ******* hero COMPLETELY ignores my strongest tool: shoulder bash. With very easy accessible to undodgables and his long *** chain of extended dodges, my bash literally means NOTHING. I can’t do ANYTHING against turtle Tiandis. Warden’s biggest nightmare is a Tiandi who knows how to space.

    3. With my rep 23 BP I struggle against:
    - Tiandi
    - Warden

    - Basically the same reasons I put previously for Lawbringer’s bad matchups. It doesn’t help that his undodgable heavy finishers are slow as ****.

    4. With my rep 11 Aramusha I struggle against:
    - Nuxia
    - Anybody with a bash

    - Don’t even get me started on this one.

I just hit rep 60 with my peacekeeper. After raider and hito were made fair and bp shieldbash is finally punishable, I have trouble with 3 heroes only:

    1. Shugoki. I was first in disbelief how unbeatable they are with pk, then it angered me, then I accepted that I might have to use somewhat cheap tactics to defeat them, then I was depressed to fight them. Now I just accept that I will never stand a chance. All my offense is shut down by light openers, heavy openers beat my light parries and even my optionselects, and while I can try to turtle, I ultimately need twice as many good reads maintained for 3 rounds. Those light openers should not be armored. Thankfully, there are not a whole lot of them.

    2. Aramusha. Nothing can be done against them without a bash. Do you light or dagger cancel? They parry 3 of them and you are dead. Heavies? They deal 25 damage on heavy parries. And they will start a quite strong mixup after them. Guardbreak softfeint? Okay, here is 40 damage, their heavies are immune to guardbreaks. Zone optionselect? Okay, they just block right, and if you waste your stamina, you risk a one shot. By the way, they also have a great zone optionselect. Same with shugoki, you must make twice as much good reads to kill him (in his case, the damage and uselessness of the best damage dealer move is the reason, his health is not higher than mine). And his offense is not that bad anymore, you must use your reflexguard to guard against him and you must consider that there is no backdodge anymore to shut down his heavy finishers. He needs a bit more offense and an answer to bashes, but his broken damage numbers and guardbreak immune heavies must go in return.

    3. Lawbringer. Especially in ranked, everything he reads well will cost 50 hp for you, plus a shove mixup with blind for potentially more. Basically to parries kills you. Or one and a few 400ms top lights. Meanwhile he has the highest hp of course, so I need at least 7-8 good reads against his 2. Basically, you must be 4 times better to beat a lawbringer in that tight arena, and the odds are only slightly better in bigger arenas. (By the way, even with these odds, if you beat one in ranked, he becomes salty despite how much advantage he had over you).

+1: Warden in 4v4 with Thick Blood. I don't think I have to explain this. I just run from them, no way I will defeat them in any way.

No, but his combo bash is caught by my dodge attacks, which is very high punish, and his undodgable heavy is deflectable for very high damage too. I no longer have any trouble with my Black Priors, they feel to be totally fair opponents as pk, every move has fair risks for both parties in both kits. They fixed that bug that guaranteed the shieldbash after the light, that was the only unfair thing in bp.

Regarding shugoki, a little math witl tell why is he unbeatable with pk: my light parry punish if I bait up the light opener is 34 damage, I need five of those to kill him. However, he can also throw a normal heavy, and while I am unsore about side heavy damage, it is at least 30 damage, 4 of them is enough to kill me. Heavy parries deal only 15 damage, 10 of them is needed to kill a shugoki, but their heavies are also chargable. Regarding his finisher, he will either deal 45 damage or suffer 36 if he lets it fly (of course parrying it for the low reward is stupid), or he can softfeint into demon's embrace, for that, we have the same punish, and if he is succesful, he deals 25 damage and regains 25 healths. He can also harfeint into guardbreak any time, with no virtual risk and high reward nearby walls. With very simple tools, he will force me to abandon all aggression and momentum (he can even trade with a light midchain, so offense is useless), and start a guessing game on his own ground. He deals higher damage, has far higher health and a move to regenerate it, a very deadly and very accessible heavy finisher mixup, and an easy way to shut down everything I have (basically throw a light or heavy during my offense no matter what am I doing). And if we are in 4v4, that's even worse, than he is unbalancable and even more tanky with the right feats. He has one weakness, bashes, and pk does not have any.
