Unable to do weekend event due to low card levels and rating lock | Forums

Hello,

This week I was able to get above 7k rating for the first time(previous best was 6300). I usually hover between 5500 and 6000. I started playing a few months ago and do not have high card levels in general, but due to the events this week along with my investment into Human Kite and Doctor Timothy I was able to boost cards up to a level that allowed me to grind my rating above 7k. Now that the events are over and the new event requires me to use cards that I do not have any higher level cards to boost, I am unable to get close to winning games unless my opponent is a deranker. the problem is that my lowest rank is locked just above 6k and there is no way for me to drop my ranking were my cards would be able to help me win the game. I pride myself on spending the time to complete these events over the weekend, but would need to either be able to play at a lower ranking or put 2-3 of the cards in the deck and just not play them during the match to complete this event. Is there anyway that this situation can be avoided in the future?(either bigger card pools for the weekend events, or possibly the ability to put in a request to auto correct your ranking in the scenario you end up too high for your card levels.) Any help would be amazing, otherwise have a great weekend!

I was able to get exactly 100 points. for a smaller event this was really brutal.
