What makes you come back to For Honor

We all know that For Honor gets your blood boiling at some times, but a lot of people keep coming back to the game.

What is your reason behind it?

Is it the gameplay, the heroes, the fashion, unlocking new items...

Post your comment below. Maybe Ubisoft gets some inspiration for future content based on your answers

I come back because the gaming industry is REALLY DRY at the moment in terms of RPG. There are just no good games out so we're kindda stuck with For Honor despite its many, many flaws.

For Honor is unique and more polished than any games of a similar type. When it works and you get fair games where both sides fight tooth and nail, or pull off some astral brain level mindgames, or survive that 4 man gank long enough to get revenge and buy time for your team to arrive and save you....its those satisfying things that bring me back. While sure they are few and far between, most ganks killing you before revenge is even half charged, most games being grossly unbalanced, it still is unique and fun enough to surmount those faults. Plus playing those characters you put dozens of hours into (usually) just feels good.

Exactly, and the cherry on top is when you actually look good doing it.

Looks and feels great, love the medieval combat and executions, the character customization is awesome.

That being said, the game has become completely about reaction times, and mine aren't good enough to play it a lot anymore.

At this point the only thing that keeps me coming back is the lack of choices on console for games, otherwise I would have probably moved on completely.

I love this game because its rewarding to put a lot of effort into practicing and mastering a character and seeing improvement. I play mostly duels so I love playing against a really good opponent who knows how to use their character's entire kit. I've encountered players in Random duels that i've spend three or four hours rematching because the duels were just that freaking good. Now on the flip side it is frustrating to get wrecked by a Hito or Raider with a guy who is basically button mashing when your playing your character optionally but overall its still a blast. Not crazy about 4's because its just not fun to get ganked or gank someone else but I know players who enjoy it and I can understand why. Overall For Honor is one of my Favorite games because i love games that make you work harder to improve . That's my favorite aspect.

This has been nice to read tonight and has pretty much made my day. It's so awesome to see people in the community sharing love for FH even though some things don't go their way sometimes. For Honor has an extremely steep learning curve and it's awesome to see you all discussing how much you're enjoying it!

Because it's the only game of it's kind, let's get real here if something else used for honors combat style and gameplay but in a better more balanced format elsewhere? this game would be dead as the hopes and dreams of the people that backed No Man's Sky

For honor is way underrated and the sole game to be that deep and welldone in medieval melee combat. Ubisfot rent better servers and/or rework the netcode and this game should stand still for 3 other years at least.

    My friends.
    New heroes to try.
    New weapons to collect.
    For fashion.

Though I never really left. Only leaving the forums from time to time and return when it feel right or necessary because I want to voice an opinion.

For Honor is unique and still a lot of fun. I wish for a good year 4 and another add-on.
