New Patch Has Created Severe Stability Issues (PC)

With today’s update to NVIDEA drivers and the November Windows Update (1909), the patch released today has made GR:BR an unplayable mess.

So far these are the biggest issues I have been able to detect:

*On launch the game shuts down major windows functions running in the background necessary for OS Stability.

    * On launch the game’s communication with the systems NIC Card is constantly interrupted causing major lag.

Anyone else detecting any similar issues?

Haven't suffered any of these yet. Might be worth rolling back the Nvidia drivers to see if that makes a difference. Wouldn't be the first time that Nvidia released drivers that broke a pile of stuff.

Tried that already. No joy. The issue seems to stem from the fact that upon launch, the game shuts down major window background functions on most of my peripherals. I use Logitech MKB and headset. It seems to be shutting down communication with these items. It also shuts down all ASUS background operations as well. It’s the only game in my library doing this. Even the Division 2 seems to launch and play flawlessly. I was able to create a work around by minimizing the game after launch and manually launching the background svcs’s, however, the game crashes 5-10 minutes in. Totally unplayable.

my guess it might be battleye, those crappy anti cheat systems have been known to automatically close software apps related to gaming.

    just a thought...

have you tried launching the game with battleye disabled?

    GRB.exe /belaunch -be

if that doesn't do anything, it's something else.
