MASSIVE will follow persistent his anti-original (The Division) course, but I think the next apparel event will be about christmas, like santa- and reindeer costumes... something like that:

And maybe some other exotic ar with the form of a candy cane.
I'd really rather not have aliens in TD2. Or in any TD games. That goes for zombies too. At least the Wildlands Predator fitted tongue-in-cheek with the real world setting of the Arnie film.
I do hope not. I want something kind of serious next time round, something based around civilian clothing, maybe work-wear clothing or something.Originally Posted by Neo_Intended Go to original post

Well aliens is science fiction where as green poison could make civilians lose their mind and attack people, making them like zombies.Originally Posted by rapier17 Go to original post

I don't think this is the IP for zombies or aliens, and if you're interested in those themes, there are plenty of other games to play.
Personally I can't wait for The Last Of Us: part 2.
Yeah, I’m all for new game modes and even letting them think outside the box a bit, but aliens aren’t for me. Probably not zombies either.
Speaking of the next apparel event, I’m ready for something on the more serious side too. TD1 lent itself well to the Christmas/Holiday theme with the winter setting, but this game, not so much. My preference would be for something more serious for a big apparel event and maybe drop a few holiday related cosmetics (like a Santa hat or something) in a few weeks.
That’s just me though.
I expect this but hope it doesn't happen.Originally Posted by Neo_Intended Go to original post
There are a tonne of small issues with the Division which corrected would improve the game. One of them is that the Division's narrative wants to be taken seriously while at the same time some game systems make it hard to do so.
i.e. A city on the verge of collapse and you as a high-tech highly-trained secret US government sleeper agent tasked with restoring law and order will instead spaz dance in a Santa outfit. This is my opinion, I don't expect the game to be serious all the time, but it'd be nice if it were more consistent
