Game constantly downloading the same updates | Forums

Every time I exit the Team or shop section and go to the main neighborhood screen, a window pops up and says I have additional content to download. I can't even dodge or skip this process. It downloads a 35.8M data file which seems to be an older version of the game because the main event progress screen is just pure white, no picture in the back. Then when I boot up the game again it asks to download another update which I assume is the latest version size is 39M. Then it just keeps doing the above again and again and it's driving me nuts. I've already tried deleting the entire game and reinstalling but didn't help much. I play on the latest iOS version and I have more than enough space in my phone.
