    UPlay - FarCry4 Pc Error - Locate Game folder

    Hello,

    I fiest downloaded FarCry4 about a week ago via my mobile Teething HotSpot Wi-Fi. Once it had completed downloading I tried to launch the game but it came up with an error;

    "Starting Game
    Unable to start the game. Please check that your game has been installed correctly. If the problem persists, please contact Ubisoft Suppoort.
    Have you moved your game and/or its files? If so, select the folder where the game is now located"

    I then uninstalled the game and had my original home broadband repaired and downloaded FarCry4 again. But again the same problem occured So I tried to locate the folder and selected the "FarCry 4" folder. then a small pop up said;
    "All game files have been successfully validated"

    I started the game again, but again the original Error pops up;

    "Starting Game
    Unable to start the game. Please check that your game has been installed correctly. If the problem persists, please contact Ubisoft Suppoort.
    Have you moved your game and/or its files? If so, select the folder where the game is now located"

    I have then tried running the game as admin but a different error then pops up;

    "The version of this file is not compatible with the version of windows you're running. Check your computers system information to see whether you need an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher."

    Any help or support would be appreciated, and I will hopefully be a regular on these forums in the future.
    Thank you in advance

    I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue.

    Far Cry 4 will only run on a 64-bit version of Windows. You can check the system requirements for the game here.

    Please check here for more information about the other error that you received.

    Thank you for the solution though!

    So if all other specs check out, you really should just install a 64-bit version of Windows on your current hardware! There's no point in running a 32bit Operating System if your hardware can handle 64-bit! You'll get a speed boost too probably!
