I have been an Ubisoft fan/customer since the first Tom Clancy Rainbow Six on PC. I increasingly become frustrated with the decisions you make on your games. I loved Far Cry series, and the map editor. You create amazing map making tools., but make it impossible to enjoy with your friends. After Far Cry 5, I will never buy another Far Cry---I don't care what the ratings are.
Now with Recon....why won't you let me pick the game type I want to play like every other shooter! I loved Wildlands. But it has become garbage since you forced crappy events and crappy game types on the game. I wanted to buy Breakpoint, but the online was horrible--not strategic like Wildlands. Even without online, i was going to buy it for co-op...but I have become disenfranchised with the changes you have made to Wildlands --- Events no one wants to play, and forcing me half the time to play Sabotage., Uplink, Extraction. Let me pick the game type! Email me when you fix this nonsense...otherwise, I am done with Ubisoft games.
I uninstalled this game tonight. This was my favorite game from the time that I owned it. All of my friends quit playing it because you all turned it into a crappy game. My account and linked accounts do not accurately reflect how long of an Ubisoft fan I have been or how many of the games I have owned (all the old recons and rainbow sixes plus some.) I miss the days when you had a good game and left it alone. You will never get another dollar from me. I have seen the quit percentage of players increase significantly since you made this game crappy. And I bet your sales of the new Breakpoint are not as stellar as you had hoped. It is because you insist on driving away your fan base.
Regards,
How come you can't play Far Cry 5 with your friends? That's pretty much the thing that keeps the game going rn, Title update 8 addressed the multiplayer lobbies, you know that right?
Similarly, Ubisoft did a mea culpa on the Breakpoint game, announcing improvements based on customer feedback.
It's unfortunate that games these days seem to only mature after release. People who don't get their fix straight from the get-go, like yourself, are discouraged to stick with the product and abandon all hope. Let's hope Ubisoft learns how to deal with this better in the future. There's lots of potential to be had with just a little more TLC.![]()
