    Game "unable to launch"

Whenever I attempt to launch for honor, a pop-up appears stating that it is unable to start the game, and gives the option to locate the folder the game is installed in and verify the files. After doing this, it still will not work. I have tried reinstalling both for honor and the Uplay launcher entirely, and moving all Ubisoft files to a different hard drive to attempt to remedy the situation to no avail. I have no idea what is causing this, and no error code is visible on the pop-up to try and search for.

Looking on your account, you own a steam copy of the game.
Have you downloaded the game through steam, or did you transfer the files from another location/computer?

That's odd, as I do not own a steam copy. I have only ever played it on Uplay and on one computer. This issue just sort of started about three days ago.

Not sure what I was looking at when I saw that :/
Just looked on your account again and it is definitely a Uplay account lol

To look deeper into this, can you set up a case on our social site and upload text copies of your DXDiag and MSInfo files

Once you've done this, can you please let me know your case number.

Hey ArmadilloFood, I can see my agents have replied to your case. Have you tried the steps we emailed you?

Just another suggestion if the issue persists, try running the game and Uplay with admin rights as well.

Also, very rarely this can be caused by your firewall/antivirus. Can you please temporarily disable this and test again?

I've tried what you suggested, but still nothing works. I opened a case with Ubisoft support and am getting help on there, but the game is still not cooperating. I do appreciate the help, I'm completely lost as to why this is happening, just sort of started a few days ago.

Hey ArmadilloFood, I've seen from looking at your support case again now that it has been closed as resolved, and you've been able to access For Honor again after updating / reinstalling the supporting softwares - very glad to hear this!

Do let us know if you encounter any further issues with the game in future, and we'll be happy to assist you again.
