The GRIND - Faction Missions and Inventory!

Hmmm...where do I start, after putting in 300+ hours in Wildlands and loving every minute of it, I naturally picked up GRB, after playing the alpha and beta. So far, I have 80 hours in the game, Xbox One X version, and here's where my rage and frustration come though with GRB after now getting a good glimpse of the game.

    - Faction missions, for the most part are an absolute pain in the ***, you need to do 5-8 of them to UNLOCK one GD tier, it's truly surreal at times. I just freed a commander from a base that had four heavy mobile ground drones, four fixed emplacements, multiple helicopters incoming, 4-6 heavy air drones, and about 40 personnel with double snipers on every roof essentially. I get picked up by one soldier and boom everything goes to hell in a hand basket, long story short, I destroy everything, have to carry the commander 782 meters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!! then when I get to extraction point, there is a stream that separates me and it, as far as your eyes can see, I try to cross, he dies and it asks me to reload the game and start all over - this was for 30 POINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There were no vehicles anywhere for me to use. I hate that you can't call in a vehicle like in the last game, so handy. I love this game in some ways, though experiences like this are going to push me away from Ubisoft forever, I literally have bought almost every game they've published over the years. This kind of scenario disrespects my time and and is abusive from a time management perspective. This game demands you to sink 2-3 hours a day in it to beat these missions to get this gear, these awards should be much easier and faster to obtain. Now, I'm on level 19 with 25 days or so to get to get 30 levels, WTFO. Missions should be at minimal 50 points and tiers should be much easier to reach. I've quit playing the main levels, solely to try and beat the majestical clock to 49, damn near mission impossible at this point.

Inventory management - MY GOD, to sell guns, I probably have 400 or so of them, takes forever, why can't I sort them, why can't I click on them and do a mass sell of dozens of them at once. I typically work 12 hours a day, playing this game is starting to feel like a job when I get home, the aforementioned scenario, took me over an hour, ended up with nothing to show for it. EVERYTHING in this game seems like it's meant to waste your time, even opening crates seems slow, everything is meant to take you away from everything else in your life. It's a deplorable concept and I'm starting to hate a game I loved a month or so ago.

Also, how could I forget, when you meet with the Homesteaders, led by Mads Schulz, and the Outcasts, led by Haruhi Ito, you have to get all the way to their locations, every time, which are basically opposite of each other, so you can bivouac to and from to some degree and THEN you are given a location all the way across the map, hopefully you have a bivouac somewhat close, you go in and hack a computer or something and it then says, oh NOW, you have to go another four kilometers or so to get to the terminal and then defend it or something, just again, grinding your time...NOW, do this 5-8 times today and you'll get a tier!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some faction missions are clearly 'easier' than others.

Some can be accomplished with a well-placed rocket or sneak in.

So I prioritize straightforward, and if I don't complete the hardest ones today, there's always tomorrow.

This is true, but "dailies"are still too long, and as mentioned by Philstat they are full of bugs. It's a really pain.
with 100 hours in the game I finished the single-player campaign but I will never complete the "grind". Does this seem normal?

While some of that Missions are pretty easy by using a Heli to destroy Trucks, or go Sniper, use the Class Item, mark the Target and Drone-kill it, mostly the Extraction Missions are badly designed.
I had to extract a Commander from a heavily guarded Camp yesterday. I realized I'm on a Peninsula in the Swamps, no Vehicles to find, and for the only Boat that I found I wasn't allowed to put the VIP into.
Since last Patch there also seem to randomly appear Choppas while you extract a VIP.
    Sometimes it's just hilarious.

Pulling my own teeth is preferable to inventory management, it's truly awful in Breakpoint.

I gave up completing the battle pass. Don't even know which rank i achieved. I prefer to explore the world and do other content.

They are missions for the two civilian factions in the game, The Homesteaders in Erewhon, and the Outcasts in the southern islands. They appear as green dots on your map. They change every day. The Elite Faction Missions are toughest and reward most points and are available only by talking to the faction leaders in their home bases. The points you earn from doing these missions add up to allow you to earn Battle Rewards which are a variety of cosmetics, guns and vehicles.
