If this game has raid just for the sake of loot, thats just another reason to avoid it. If they can't make any add on missions fun without the need for gear score looting, then this whole game should just be scraped.

But it's also possible that people saying they need loot to do raids are just wrong and can't conceptualize a game that's rewarding just because it's fun to play and not because you get addicted to a slowly increasing number system.

The game became much more enjoyable when I changed a setting to stop the loot popups and started ignoring the gear score system. Of course I used some Skell credits to buy the apparel I wanted and flipped the skin override switch. Now the only time I mess with changing gear is when I'm in a bivouac, that is the only time I change gear and I use blueprints in the shop to get higher levels of my preferred weapons.

Should never have been in the game in the first place.

Agreed !! feels like they made a new The Division, on an island with new environments.

Delete loot and delete gear score.

I’m just finding that the gear score is a waste of time as it’s not really having an effect on anything I do, it doesn’t need to be there
