Below you will find commonly asked gameplay questions for Just Dance 2020.
What is All Stars Mode in Just Dance 2020?
This new mode allows you to play through songs from 10 years of Just Dance to unlock the song High Hopes by Panic! at the Disco and can be accessed from the title menu. More details can be found here.
How can I earn and spend Mojos in-game?
When you have completed a song, you will receive Mojos (a virtual currency) that you can use to unlock new content from the Gift Machine. You can earn Mojos by leveling up or completing daily challenges.
What is Kids Mode in Just Dance 2020?
Kids Mode is a safe space for children to have fun and enjoy dancing! In this mode, there are new and adapted songs for kids. There is also new choreography that was developed with the help of kids development experts to encourage healthy movement. Please note there are no rewards, XP. challenges or Mojos in this most. More details can be found here.
What song rewards can I unlock in Just Dance 2020?
There are various rewards you can unlock by dancing to each song. You can unlock:
- An avatar, by dancing to a song for the first time.
- A sticker, by dancing to a song three times
- A Golden Avatar, by finishing a song with a Megastar score (12,000 points or above)
How does the World Dance Floor work in Just Dance 2020?
The World Dance Floor is an online multiplayer mode where players from all over the world dance together. It is cross-platform and is an endless list playlist with different themes. Every two weeks, players will compete to try and be the best player of the season. There are also events that can be triggered. These include:
- Happy Hours: Specific time windows during which the playlist only contains Just Dance Unlimited songs. All dances will be available for everyone.
- Beat The Boss: A massive cooperative event. All players have to combine their score to beat the boss for the length of one up to three tracks.
- Team Battle: Two teams face each other. You will be assigned to a team in which you will have to score as many stars as possible to win.
- Tournaments: Players have to give their best in a succession of songs to accumulate the highest score possible and win.
- Song vote: Players will be able to vote for different tracks to choose the next song. They will then compete to earn the best score and reach the top of the ranking.
How do I unlock all songs and features in the game?
Some songs have a special version that you may have to unlock.
- Dance a song five times to unlock the Alternative Version.
- Score a Superstar rating to unlock the Extreme Version

About Just Dance Unlimited
Just Dance Unlimited is a dance on demand streaming service that grants you access to a catalog of 500 tracks playable for the duration of the service. It is available for the PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
What does Just Dance Unlimited allow?
The Unlimited Pass allows you access to more than 500 songs at release of Just Dance and to new tracks that will be regularly added to our catalog. You can access it from any Just Dance title that supports the service on the same platform. Note that this new content will be exclusive to the newest edition of the game.
Does my Just Dance Unlimited membership carry over to other platforms?
No, your membership will only be linked to the platform you have activated it on.
My Just Dance Unlimited pass has expired, what will happen to my content?
If your pass is expired, you will no longer have access to the Unlimited content.
Where can I renew my Just Dance Unlimited subscription?
A Just Dance subscription can be purchased from the PSN Store, Nintendo e-shop, and Xbox Live.

Activating your Just Dance Unlimited Free Trial
PS4
- Create a PSN account.
- Connect the PS4 to the Interne
- If you are online when you launch the game, you will be automatically prompted to unlock your free trial now or later. Otherwise, you will be prompted to activate your trial once you select a song that is part of the Just Dance Unlimited catalog.
- Activate your trial to enjoy your 30 days of Just Dance Unlimited right away!
- If you prefer to activate it later, you will have the opportunity to activate it through the Just Dance Unlimited tile in your Profile tab.
- If you do not see this page, it means that you're probably offline. In this case, please connect your platform to the Internet and come back to this Profile tab to select the Just Dance Unlimited tile again.
- As soon as your Ubisoft account is linked to your Just Dance Profile, it will automatically unlock your free trial of Just Dance Unlimited.
Xbox One
- Create a free Xbox Live account.
- Connect the Xbox One to the Internet
- If you are online when you launch the game, you will be automatically prompted to unlock your free trial now or later. Otherwise, you will be prompted to activate your trial once you select a song that is part of the Just Dance Unlimited catalog.

Missing Just Dance Unlimited
If you are missing Just Dance Unlimited, either free trial or purchased, please try the following steps:
1. Make sure your Ubisoft account is linked to your console.
You can do this by following the steps on this FAQ.
2. Try connection troubleshooting.

3. (Nintendo Switch only) Ensure that your console is the primary Nintendo Switch console for your Nintendo Account.

PS4 Troubleshooting
Below you will find troubleshooting for any issues you may encounter on Just Dance 2020.
Basic Troubleshooting
For any technical issues you run into, basic troubleshooting is a good first step.
1. Make sure your system is up to date
To do this, connect your console to the internet and check if any updates are available. Please refer to this official Sony article.
2. Power cycle your PS4
Try power cycling your PS4 as a first step.
- Turn off the PS4.
- Disconnect the power cable.
- Wait 1 minute.
- Reconnect the power cable and restart the console.
3. Rebuild your PS4's database
Rebuilding your database is similar to a computer disk defragmenter and will not affect your save data.
- Turn off the PS4.
- Once the PS4 is off, press and hold the power button until the PS4 beeps twice (this may take up to 10 seconds).
- Connect the DualShock controller with a USB cable.
- Once connected, press the PS button on the controller. You should now see the Safe Mode options on the PS4.
- Select option "5. Rebuild Database" and press X.
- "The database will be rebuilt, it might take a few hours to rebuild the database" will show on the screen, press "OK".
- Allow the database to rebuild. Afterwards the console will return to the sign-in screen.
4. Restoring Licenses
If you bought the game digitally or redeemed it via the PlayStation Store, try restoring licenses . This ensures that any content on your console matches your account's privileges.
- On the PlayStation Dashboard, select Settings
- Select Playstation Network/Account Management
- Choose the option to Restore Licenses
- Select Restore
5. Reinstalling the game files
If the issue persists or if you own a physical copy of the game, please try reinstalling the game files.
If the game is visible on the PlayStation home screen:
- Hover over the game tile.
- Press the Options button.
- Select Delete.
You can also complete this, by following these steps:
- Scroll to the right to locate the Library.
- Hover over the game tile.
- Press the Options button.
- Select Delete.
Please note, this will not affect your save data.
Connection Troubleshooting
1. Reset your network hardware
Resetting your network hardware allows it to re-establish a fresh connection to your ISP. To do this:
- Shut down all computers/consoles connected to your modem and/or router.
- Power down and unplug the modem and/or router.
- Wait 60 seconds.
- Plug in and turn on the modem and/or router
This will power cycle your modem or router.
2. Enable UPnP
Some players have reported that enabling UPnP helped them to fix their issue. UPnP stands for Universal Plug and Play and allows applications to automatically forward ports. Due to the amount of different routers, we cannot provide exact steps and recommend you consult your routers manual or your ISP.
3. Port Forwarding
Port forwarding makes sure that the router's firewall does not interfere with the game's connection. For more information, please check out this FAQ. If you forward ports, you will also want to set up a static IP for your PS4. Instructions on this can be found here. Ports for Just Dance 2020 are below:
TCP: 80, 443
UDP: 6000, 7000
4. Place the console into the DMZ
Please follow the instructions on this FAQ. Please be aware that your PS4 will not be protected by your router's security measures in the DMZ. If you have concerns about the security of the network you are on, we recommend that you do not apply this troubleshooting step.
5. External restrictions
There may be restrictions set by your ISP or network administrator. Some examples of where this may be an issue include a university campus, a military base, or shared housing. If you believe this you are affected by this, please contact your ISP or network administrator.

Xbox One Troubleshooting
Below you will find troubleshooting for any issues you may encounter on Just Dance 2020.
Basic Troubleshooting
For any technical issues you run into, basic troubleshooting is a good first step.
1. Make sure your system is up to date
To do this, connect your console to the internet and check if any updates are available. Please check out this official Microsoft article!
2. Power cycle your Xbox One
- Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds.
- Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console/ the Xbox button on your controller.
Note If you don't see the green boot-up animation when the console restarts, repeat these steps. Make sure that you hold the power button until the console completely shuts down.
3. Clear your Xbox's cache
Clearing the cache erases temporary files, which if they become corrupted, may lead to connectivity issues. To do this:
- Turn off the Xbox completely
- Unplug the Xbox for two minutes
- Turn the Xbox back on
Note: this will not clear any saves or installation.
4. Try another system
In order to determine if your issue is related to the individual console, your game disc or connection, it may be worthwhile to try with another Xbox One, if possible for you.
Connection Troubleshooting

Nintendo Switch Troubleshooting
Basic Troubleshooting
For any technical issues you run into, basic troubleshooting is a good first step.
1. Make sure your system is up to date
To download the latest system software update for your console, connect your Switch to the internet. Once your console is connected, your console should automatically download the system update.
2. Relaunch your console
If your console is frozen or no longer responding, hold the Power Button for 12 seconds or more to turn the console off.
3. Disconnect your console from the internet
Some issues may be linked to the inability to download a specific piece of content or to connect to online services. Disconnecting your console from the internet may allow you to bypass your issue. To do so:
Please unplug the ethernet cable, if your console is connected to the network by cable.
If you are connected by WiFi, go offline in settings.
Once disconnected, try again. Whether it works or not, don't forget to reconnect your Nintendo Switch to the internet afterwards.
4. Try another system
In order to determine if your issue is related to the individual console, your game cartridge or connection, it may be worthwhile to try with another Nintendo Switch, if possible for you.
