I can't be the only one who feels that Glad is a bit ridiculous now? It's good that Ubi gave him some much needed attention but I think they've overdone it.
Toe Stab - going OOS against the Glad is a death wish. I'd much rather go OOS against the Jorm simply because at least I get my stamina back after his 50 dmg move. With Gladiator, not only does the toe stab have ridiculous tracking, but it feels ridiculously fast. Maybe I'm bad but I rarely can dodge it on reaction, with most of my dodges being blind guesses. The toe stab is also extremely viable in 4v4 as it almost acts as a damage bash which doesn't feed revenge. Which leads me onto my next point.
Haymaker - the Haymaker feat is an absolute must pick feat in 4's. It makes people completely change the way they play to the point of cheese. And don't get me started on the punishes. I would encourage people to watch Freezes video where you can get punishes of 116 dmg off OOS parries. That is ludicrous.
I'm happy that you can get creative with Glad, but I think he should be toned down a bit.
Toe stab : haymaker isnt the real problem. Maybe they could reduce the numbers so with haymaker it does like 16 instead of 20 but the real thing is the small revenge feed while it allow an additional ally hit. It should feed a normal amount of revenge and not the same as a 10dmg light.
Plus it does 20dmg with haymaker but only 10dmg in duel or before you get your 2nd feats in 4s.
But you have to keep in mind haymaker is very important for Glad as he doesnt have wallsplat utility nor any dmg on his Dodge bash without it while having horrible tracking and poor frame on that last moove.
This is 4v4 speaking.
In terms of speed, this is a 600ms moove while oos. Actually slower than Jorme chain bash and while you didnt regen stam the punish is 20 less dmg and doesnt give him HP back and shield.
The speed is ok now, before the buff you could never land it.
Glad punish you can see in freeze vids are more fancy than something else. I mean in duel yeah you can try it and take the risk to fail (as you have to perfectly time/delaye everything).
But in 4s those punish are far too long and always interupted. You gonna stay with the basic Dodge light + heavy or double heavy punish.
So at the end if anything should have to be look at about Glad it would be the revenge feed from the toe stab.
It's funny because it doesn't feel like a 600ms attack. Also, the OOS parry punishes aren't hard to pull off but I do get what you're saying and I do agree with your changes to toe stab in regards to damage and revengeOriginally Posted by Siegfried-Z Go to original post
