When Ezio get shot by the gunmen at the siege of Monteriggioni why doesn't the borgia guards find him and capture him when he is unconscious.

    Thanks.

a combination of the fact that they thought that Ezio was dead and the fact that the Auditore mercenaries still occupied the inside of the villa walls

Because Ezio made a deal with head of the Borgia guards to let him go in lieu of a jellybean

Because there was a war going on.
You try finding one specific person during a big battle like that!

Because, like Assassin_M said, the mercenaries found him first.

And because, I think, he wasn't unconcious at all.
I think he just fell off the room, and he needed a moment to get up.
Most people don't get up as soon af you fall, you know?
