    Ubisoft logic

Warden: *has the strongest offense in the game and almost strongest defense in the game*

Ubisoft: *nerfs other heroes (including weak ones like Shinobi), refuses to buff very weak heroes like Aramusha, and doesn't nerf Warden*

    Ok

Well the big Shinobi nerf this year was necessary because he was actually broken. Like straight up you could 'cheat' the game with using him. Sure he is hard to use and whatnot but there were VERY broken aspects about him related to his kick and sickle rain. On a whole other level from what you are talking about with warden.

Well, over this last season, more people across the community had concerns with Raider and Hitokiri. By a good amount.

The Shinobi nerf was more about overall game health, due to similar feedback to what CanadianSoupMan indicated above.

Aramusha hasn't been left completely alone, but yes, other heroes have received more work recently. Cent + Glad + WardenWhoops, Warlord being in the Testing Grounds doesn't mean we hate Aramusha and refuse to look at him.

Aramusha is not weak, he has one of the highest win rates in both 1v1 and 4v4 according to Ubi data

People are always complaining but these last few months Imo the team have done a lot about balancing which is cool.

Those recent nerf are welcome too as they were asked by the entire community.

Shinobi would just have deserved something to compensate cuz he is very bad rn.

Ps: i gess you meant Cent, Glad and WL lol

It its true that Raider and Hitokiri needed some nerfs and most players complained about them. But, it would be better if some of the nerfs were choosen for competitive gameplay.

We were told that every OP defensive move would be nerfed to encourage more active gameplay. But the nerfs only included samurai and vikings. Warden's almost unpunishable backdodge shoulderbash defense, Conqueror's ridiculously strong option select defenses and other unbalanced defensive moves of knights were ignored.

Although Shinobi's unpunishable mixups needed nerfs, the last few nerfs are unnecessary. Shinobi kept getting nerfs even after the big nerf that made him useless.

It is true that we get buffs and nerfs much more frequently than before. I wish samurai heroes also got more buffs (not counting Shugoki's buff because he is still useless). 6 out of 7 samurais need buffs now. The next buffed/reworked hero should be a samurai.

In regards to the defensive moves getting nerfs, it was just about the meta at that time and whether we could consider it "healthy." Conqueror did just get a significant nerf to heal on block, btw.

We don't intentionally go faction-by-faction. As far as I know, that's never come up as a reason as to why we'd adjust somebody.
