    This game is a little broken but not unplayable.

    I would like to start this post out by thanking the dev team for this game and while I have my own opinions on where y’all forked up, I’m largely of the unpopular opinion that this game is pretty decent and currently one of my favorite titles despite its flaws.

    Bugs and glitches:
    As the game is brand new I didn’t expect anything to work 100%. But some of the things in the game are a little fubar.

    -Thermal goggles not working. My friend whom I play with had his thermals just stop working after participating in ghost war.

    -Game drops us when we play together. I have not been booted from multiplayer pve unless I am playing with my friend whom is also a room mate. This is the most irritating thing I can bring to your attention.

    -in one of the Jace missions there is a collectible in the room that you need to get. But there is no way to access the collectible before the mission and right after the video you are removed from the room. This is a major bug for me since it interferes with my 100% completion. (If I’m wrong about this tell me how to get that collectible)

    -Gun customization and gear score. As I said in a previous post. I think the gear score is fine. But the customization for the weapons is far from. There are attachments that detract from the functionality of the weapons themselves. (Putting an acog on a bolt action snr is one such example) I’m not a weapons expert but I feel like one person in charge of that dropped the ball.

    I would like to be able to swap barrels and have more customization options. And need y’all to fix the fubar attachment issues.

    I’m not exactly keeping a running tally but this is what I have noticed (you seemed to have fixed the caliber issues with 762 rifles being listed as using 556 rounds)

    Ultimately you have a good chance to fix some of the things that are an issue and can expand the content exponentially over the life of the game. The trick right now, imho, is to get critical build issues nailed out before adding something insanely more difficult. (AI squad mates for example) I very much don’t need them as far as I have played. Pulling a solid snake in this game is way easier than it is I’m mgs...

    Obviously this game has amazing looks and if your CO-OP is not bugging out randomly, you can have amazing role play time with your friends.

    All the complaints are, how many other aspects of the game are just half-cooked unfinished and plain old untested and bugged.

    All that complaining means, that people would like to love this game, just no reason whatsoever to be blind to all the flaws, specially when they just smack you in the face every now and then.

    Well I mean. I’ll admit that I don’t really see much that makes this game super special. But I do like the game a lot and I hope that over the next two years they polish it up nice. That’s all I think it needs right now is to fix how buggy it is. All the other **** everyone is saying about gear score is imho the worst level of change denial I have ever seen.

    I stick to my whole heartedly believed resolution that the gear score is way less important than everyone is making it seem. If the game is too easy turn up the difficulty. A lot of the time I only change my gear out when I am ready to sell stuff. That could be 30 minutes or 5 hours between upgrades.

    Gear score matters a bit, when you go in all guns blazing and draw the whole camp onto you and then run dodging bullets. Then higher gear score will buy you probably 2..3 hits before you are just plain dead.

    If you just sneak around head-shotting NPCs and pile them up at choke points - gear score is absolutely meaningless number.

    Sooo... to summarize the gear score really doesn’t effect much other than allowing you a little more survivability in a firefight, but you still need to use tactics or cover or get owned?



    Hmmm imagine that. The inclusion of an rpg element that doesn’t change the style of gameplay that much and still requires you to be tactical in your approach even if you halo in the middle of a behemoth tower and rain fire....

    How about they change their view on game making, and actually finish and polish the game before selling it to people?

    Now, some people will say: "But the game will be fine in 4 years, when they have removed the monetization, looter shooter aspect and fine tuned everything and removed all the bugs and added a more interesting story line and removed all the mechanics from Division, Far cry and Assassins creed, and given it back its Ghost recon identity turning it into the modern tactical military shooter that the community initially wanted"

    Most of us just wonder why they chose to go for greed instead of doing that from the start....
