    Ghost Recon A.I and a.i teammate solutions

    First and formost i'd like to say that GHOST RECON BREAKPOINT is a great game. So much detail and thought put into it. I've heard alot of negative feedback in regards to how this title is released and little to no solutions. I personally feel that yes its not perfect but with the fact that the community is involved with the devs is quite amazing. Im am a active duty soldiers and a long time fan of the Tom Clancy titles. I feel that Breakpoint can set itself far apart from the known tactical shooters today if the pushed into the right direction. My solutions that ill suggest will be based around making the game more immersive and socially interactive.

    A.I- Interaction with the NPC's
    The A.i should ask the NPC questions regarding the ghost and the NPC's should either give or deny that info

    • Having a patrol,checkpoint get a call from higher saying that the ghost are in your location (by the discovery of bodies via Drone) and then they take defensive measures.
    • Have the long distance radio call all the short distance patrols to begin a mass search of an area
    • Have the patrols breakout into a run from the findings of clues of ghost present to respond to the threat to a base or last area that bodies where found outside on patrols
    • Relay info on findings to follow NPC's
    • Have the A.i React to the NPC actions and characteristics(especially during the faction mission of escorting your VIP or HVT)
    • A.i should reload weapons
    • Draw distance in which you see the a.i
    • The a.i should be able to climb ladders
    • The gunner in a convoy should stay mounted
    • Wolves should track your location and look for you in an area
    Example Have them randomly question civi's on the ghost and even have them deny or confirm your presence
    The fatal funnel of death or when the a.i knows your position and they then apply pressure. To correct that I suggest that they stop and observe the situation from 4 or bodies and they have confirmed that your is at this position. They frag/flash/smoke and clear the room while a flanking elements is moving in from other possible entries.

    ■The Teammates A.i
    • Take advantage of voice interaction for mice
    • Utilize 3 basic commands with complex depth and have full control on selecting one specific member or how many will perform that order
    "Go there" or Go to a specific location as directed(way point or aimming reticule). When directed to an enemy should be have the option to take him silently up close or from designated position.If in a building entrance is selected then the selected member(s) should stack Up on the door for either a dynamic breach or a stealth breach
    * if 1 is selected to do a breach(alone) then they'll preform a stealth breach

    "Follow me" or "on me"will tell either one,two or all 3 selected members to follow you or to all of your team regroup

    "Hold position" or "stand fast"

    ■ Tactical equipment
    With bringing the team will give more tactical approaches and gear to the world of Aurora.
    1. Rope- to fast rope down buildings and structures, to climb up buildings and Terrain(mountains slopes and hills). Giving you a more lethal team than ever.
    2. The Tactical Map application(in game) to have your ghost use their smart phone as a Map that will not take into the pause screen interface but an in game map to use to be more situational awareness of your environment and in game tactical feedback if information provided.(for those who play without the map)
    * The ghost would pull out there phone and analyze it,as it would provide the map,compass, and that which is set from the mini map settings. With out leaving the game into a pause menu.

    ■ Collision- system in which you can utilize the realism of weight and inertia for the players. If their sprinting around and an object or person is there they collide and stumble. Or press up against teammates when stack to clear
    ■ Interactive emotes
    Fist bump,Shoulder tap,Squeeze(slight screen shake or vibration for indicator)
    • Auto Run has be introduced into the game so to further that incorporate an auto follow feature that will set the character on a rail connected to their teammates of a radius in which they move free behind them.
    All these Suggestions is to make the game more social and immersive

    NOTE
    • Auto pickup(items) isn't an immersive function. When your almost out of ammo and you have to now engage with the game to look for ammo and then to load the ammo. That's more engaging
    -Solution-remove auto pick up and add contextual item pick up or searching bodies

    When they do add ai teammates I hope that we can split our team into 2 elements, so say Your attacking a base, you can get 2 guys to stay in the helicopter one flying and one providing sniper/mini gun/50. support which then lets you and a second team member rappel down into say a rooftop to clear the base with support from the chopper

    What is the point of this? The player is the player, not the NPC. What is the NPC going to do with the information? Why should the player be bothered with having another step to skip through before the information extraction from the NPC is finally over with? Did you have an idea of an expansive underlying system of NPC interaction that you just didn't say anything about, or is this all: NPCs ask questions that doesn't matter, and you have to decide whether or not to wait for your character to say something that doesn't matter?

    That brings back memories of Roman in GTA 4...

    I suggest that players should have three freedom to
    •Move squad
    •Regroup formation
    •Hold position
    •Designate task (cutting fence, stealthing in, assaulting,flying, driving, staying with you, and overwatch)
    Emotes should be able to be played in
    • All stances
    • In vehicles
    • While free falling
    • While swimming
    • While in motion or moving
    • Npc's should be able to interact with you from emotes.
    • Voice command
