Mind control is bugged and needs fixed immediately it has been to long

Some cards can be played before you actually have the energy for them, leaving a ghost image in the place of where you will place them or in the instance of spells it will just leave a blank spot in your cards until you have the energy to cast a spell.

If you use mind control on a unit that is just about to die but you play the card before you have the energy for it, it takes the card from your hand and if the unit dies before you had enough energy then you will not get control of the unit and you will still use the mind control card even though there is nothing to mind control which should prevent you from actually using it but it doesn’t. So, in effect you waste a card trying to mind control a unit that is dead when it shouldn’t be possible to use the spell if there is nothing there. Even if you tried to use the spell before you had the energy for it if there is nothing to mind control, you shouldn’t lose the card or the energy for the mind control card because that is not what happened.

There are plenty of cards for this example but I don’t understand why some cards can be placed before you have the energy and some cards cannot that doesn’t make any sense to me and it has affected more than one game and not just for this example that I am citing currently about mind control. (Putting blockers, etc)

Also on a sidenote there have been plenty of times when I play a cyborg Kenny on my side of the board surrounded by the other player’s units and he is killed by one of the units but I don’t get control of anybody and they all have at least half health and none of them have died so it begs the question who is the one that managed to kill him? All of the same units are on the field the only thing that is missing is my character and now I don’t have control of anyone even though the person that killed him is supposed to be mine now.

While I am at it, if you drop a swarm unit on top of a tank that prevents anyone from taking control of your tank with mind control because when they try to take the tank the only options they will get are what is in the swarm. It is extremely aggravating if someone has a push with a tank and a few swarms and you try to mind control the tank so that the swarms will kill it, but you cannot select the tank because it won’t let you, there needs to be better control on which character you would like to select for the mind control card.

All too often I am trying to select the card right in the middle of the group and it will not let me or I’m trying to select a card at the very back of the group and all it will select is anybody that is closest to me, so I try to select the archer in the back and it won’t let me even though they are well within the circle the only options I get are the characters in the front.

The real issue is this it has been basically the same problems with the mind control card or mind control effects since I have started playing this game about six months ago and I’m sure they probably existed before that, so it is buggy as **** and needs to be looked at, not only for the people playing the card and playing scifi but also for the people playing against it which I’m sure they are upset about as well because there are way too many times where it just does the wrong thing for both ends of the stick.

I’ve even had a few matches where I got permanent control or no control at all, it has been awhile since perma control though.

Absolutely positive I’m not the only one this happened/happens to.

I don’t need any affirmation. I know what’s happening. The complacency about bugs is REALLY getting to me

I'm dealing with MC issue every day.
The best are MC on doogie or fantasy Clyde, before they hit anybody; and rather than running, they just walk slowy, when the MC end, they start running again.

i think the issue came from the lack of server side : the phone of the two player don't send the same data, and the gamesomehow compile this in one of the worst way (BOOH DEV, BOOH)

A year ago have submited many idea to deal with the selection issue of MC, to end with the "hidding" effect, like just a red/green circle. Didn't have any answer.

There is also an issue when you're killing a Cyborg kenny with a arrowstorm, and when his HPs are fading away, an unit hit him. Rather than just die, the unit who did'nt give the lethal hit became controlled. That's very frustrating.

The bugs on MC/Kenny have been there for at least 20 months. And yeah, it's a shame.

(there is a "to be" missing in the title of your post)

Lost another match last night where I tried to take control of the tank right in the middle of all of his units and instead I get a chicken and I don’t even get the option to select the card that I want to take control of even though they are well on my side of the field.

    It was really cool.

It’s already hard enough to beat mystic/fantasy swarm decks with scifi

I SHOULD BE ABLE TO SELECT THE UNIT I WANT TO CONTROL.

INSTEAD, THE UNIT I WANT TO CONTROL CAN NEVER BE SELECTED

    FOR SOME REASON

CAN YOU ANSWER THIS FOR ME TOLLER???

Fix unit targeting on mid lane. I mean if one unit sits behind another, mc can't target him even he fully fits on mc circle. I will ask about it every time I have opportunity, it's not rant section I want action

What's to fix? It sounds like the issue you're describing is normal functionality of the spell. When you play MC, the unit closest to the center of the targeting area gets controlled. The spell can't be played past the mid-line, though because of its area, half the circle can reach across it. If you're trying to target a specific unit that is behind another, and both are still behind the mid-line, you either need to wait for them to cross it so you can put your intended target closest to the middle, or do something to get rid of the unit protecting it, whether by killing it, or by removing it from the area such as with Imp Tweek, though since you can't pick Imp's target, you'll need to rely on a bit of luck using that tactic.

And you are wrong, my good sir. You can mind cont unit on opponent side, mc circle pass mid line. Second, you should read mc description, i write here for you ,,control targeted unit", you are giving wrong description ,,control unit in circle center" its different. Im here for my right chose card for mc in cirle how they are writed in description. Notice mid lane, notice opponents unit, notice my mc and give me your opinion again https://www.dropbox.com/s/klh13kzxy2uhrdc/Mconopponentside.png?dl=0

And if you read my post, I said this:

though because of its area, half the circle can reach across it
As you can see, you're arguing the same point I already acknowledged as true. So I was exactly correct.

Second, you should read mc description, i write here for you ,,control targeted unit", you are giving wrong description ,,control unit in circle center" its different.
And here you're arguing the wrong thing. The issue is not with the card description saying that it controls the targeted unit, it's with how the targeted unit is decided. Since they have not yet perfected mind-reading tech, they can't read your mind to know who your intended target is. Instead, they need to rely upon other methods of choosing the target. Your stated problem is that it is targeting the unit you don't want it to target when multiple units fall within its AoE. As you can see in the card description you conveniently added here for me, it does not state what happens when multiple units are in its area. My answer above explains how it resolves the spell when there are multiple targets. It simply takes the one closest to the center.

Im here for my right chose card for mc in cirle how they are writed in description. Notice mid lane, notice opponents unit, notice my mc and give me your opinion again https://www.dropbox.com/s/klh13kzxy2...tside.png?dl=0
The problem you're having is not with the wrong card being targeted. It's with your placement of the targeting circle putting the wrong unit closest to the center. You just need to be more strategic.

Also, not sure what happened to your link, but it doesn't work. It's just text, so I can't click it, so no idea what it's supposed to be a picture of. If you want to fix the link, I'll take a look at it, but I'm not making the extra effort of copy/pasting a link from my phone.
