This tells me that you are using a router too connect to both computers. Either hard wired or wireless, it doesn't matter. Does the router have some default firewall running or another antivirus that you may not be aware of? It just seems odd that both systems would be doing the same thing is what I am saying. Other then that I have no clue. Sorry my suggestion didn't work for you. The only other thing I can suggest is to turn off your antivirus on your PC for a bit and see what happens, it might be blocking the download. I hope you get it figured out and post the solution here.
Thanks, sunswimmer. Following the support direction, I already tried to disable the antivirus, Windows firewall (the only one I use) and even booted in the "clean boot", with all startup services disabled, including the Windows ones. Same symptoms. Our router is wired to both machines and it is just a standard Telus (Internet provider) router, there is nothing special about it or its settings. Half of my city has such.

I had the same problems. Couldn`t start the game for a few days because of it. I tried a lot but it didn't worked.

Yesterday I updated my graphic driver and after that the game suddenly started. I don't know if that will help you but you could try.

Thank you. This was among the first things I tried - updated all the motherboard and the graphics drivers. Didn't help.

Eventually what helped was upgrading the computer: MB, CPU and memory. I didn't change the OS - just moved the same system SSD to the new components. GPU stayed the same as well.

Interestingly, I have since observed the same issue a few times on this (upgraded) computer, as well as on another computer (which is already pretty high end). This time it was enough to kill and restart the Division2 process. I have a feeling that the problem is that Ubi doesn't test its software on Windows 7.

Sorry to hear that you are unable to complete the patch installation. Can you please try the troubleshooting steps here?

okay guys so i download the game yesterday and got the same problem where the patch update window didnt move or update.

The solution that work for me are these:

    1.-Update GPU drivers
    2.-Flush DNS
    3.-Set Uplay as admin

    4.-Reset PC
5.- Port Forward in my router

    TCP: 13000,27015,51000,55000,55002
    UDP: 22000-22032

6.- Run game update patch window loaded and game crash 2 times.
7.- Run game again and now im playing.

Hope these steps help someone else to fix the patch update problem

First thing first, sorry for Necro

Now, I tested almost everything what you exposed here (uninstall-reinstall is quite limiting for me, as I had to wait 2 full days for download; the port forward? flat chance, my ISP doesn't want to give me a hand about it but I played The division before so the port "shouldn't" be an issue). as someone stated before, the game starts well but then it needs to update and it's "stuck" there (in reality the music keeps playing but there's no cursor or something and if I "lose" focus of the game -minimize, alt+tabbing- it turns black but music keeps playing).

I welcome any other tips about this issue

Sorry to hear that. Can you please delete your config folder, which should be located in this location and try again?

    %USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\Tom Clancy's The Division 2\

    I hope it helps!

Also, I deleted your second thread as a duplicate of this one.
