for me it did the patch fine, but I've not been able to log in since. Goes to the 'connect to' screen and stops. No loading icon, no nothing, just sits. The computer isnt frozen, and when checking the Task Manager it says Running. Went through all the connectivity steps, no change. verified my files. no change.

Try and log in, and sit at the connecting page. Not fun. Really annoys the hell out of me as I waited after beta till now to get the game. Got the game, logged in for a bit, and now that I've time to play.. I cant cause its broken.

Hopefully they'll fix yours, and in doing so fix mine. Hope so, cause I really do want to play this game. Enjoyed the hell out of the first one.

Same story. Both computers in our household got stuck on this screen. After hours of waiting and a few Windows reboots (that's all - no other action was taken), one of the machines broke through and the game got running again. The other machine though is still not doing it. It's been over a week and dozens attempts. Ubisoft Customer Service dumped a bunch of suggestions on us, including disabling all the startup processes and updating all the drivers and Windows. We tried everything (except for motherboard and CPU driver update - I doubt anything more recent, than what I have installed, exists for my relatively old MB).

    Please help.

This happens to me too. This is for PC. In my case, I let it sit for about five minutes then go to 'Windows Task manager' (Control + Alt + Delete ) and do a force quite on the game. Then I start the game again, and usually you will see the patch download. It may get stuck again after the download, you will see the orange bar complete but nothing happens. Go to 'Task manager' again, do a force quit on the game and then restart the game. Now the patch will complete and then (Guess what?), the game will tell you to restart the game. It should be OK from then on.

I'm running D2 on Win 7 Ultimate with DX11, don't know if that will make a difference or not. Hope this helps.

Well, over the dozens attempts I had to kill the TheDivision2 process (or the process three) multiple times. Still same story. I run Win7 Pro with DX11.

Interesting, have you verified your files?

Yes. Also tried to uninstall and redownload-reinstall. Also tried to substitute my "C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\games\Tom Clancy's The Division 2" folder with the same from the other machine.

yep, it be broke. I tried re-installing, everything on the problems with connections suggestion page here, nada. Still sits at the same screen, everytime. Managed to play a total of 58 minutes since I bought the game. One hell of an expensive hour.

OK, one last thought. You mentioned in an earlier post above that 'both' computers in your household were doing the same thing. This tells me that you are using a router too connect to both computers. Either hard wired or wireless, it doesn't matter. Does the router have some default firewall running or another antivirus that you may not be aware of? It just seems odd that both systems would be doing the same thing is what I am saying. Other then that I have no clue. Sorry my suggestion didn't work for you. The only other thing I can suggest is to turn off your antivirus on your PC for a bit and see what happens, it might be blocking the download. I hope you get it figured out and post the solution here.
