    "Ubisoft CEO addresses investor concerns...

...that players will reject games that are too microtransaction-heavy", source: Yves Guillemot: "We have no pay-to-win elements in our games"

    That's something I appreciate.

Edit: Eventually, here's why: "Though "Fortnite" is free to play, kids spend gobs of real money purchasing the in-game currency, V-Bucks, used for dances (which are called “emotes”), skins and custom outfits for their virtual alter-egos.", source: Epic Games sued for not warning parents 'Fortnite' is allegedly as addictive as cocaine

It will change anything, - if the complainants win. Nevertheless, it's an interesting trend.

I will say one of positives of playing Division is the lack of pay to win in the game. Kudos to Massive for avoiding the trend of the industry.

I have seen many complaints about the one year pass (I was a bit upset at first as well). I will say that at the time of purchase. It was pretty vague about what was included with it. In my opinion that is what has led to the complaints about the one year pass. This could of been avoided by a clear statement of what it included. .

I got the Gold Edition. I "bought" time with it. But besides, it's the most strange pass I ever bought for a game.

The pedocache like someone call 'em. It need to stop before it's too late.
Who played MGSV here? You could build one FOB with the in game credits, and craft higher lvl weapons, protect your base. If you wanted to go faster, you had to buy credits with REAL MONEY. Some guns would take 15 days to be ready! Now, if you use your credit or dad credit card, it could have been done in 1 sec. If you wanted to craft faster, you need more staff.. but then you need more FOB, mean that you had to use again your credit card, it would have take months to get the credits on game. (for the pvp part)

    Both are wrong.

People don't like to be ripped off or annoyed. Rigging gambling boxes in-game is ripping people off. Physically interrupting the game to advertise is annoying. Games that are fair and humble have had no negative backlash.

I don't play any games that has ton of microtransactions. I know most games do that now but if I need to spend $5 to go across a bridge for a new area CYA!

Fortnite was a haven for little kids that the company ripped off from day 1. Thank god my son gave up that game. I had to monitor his purchases and even removed my CC from his Xbox because of the spending for stupid emotes and costumes that served no purpose on game play.

its the main reason why I stopped playing battlefront 2. Great game but my god spend spend spend otherwise you get nothing. EA is notorious for this now.

Loot boxes should be banned as the percentages is so low you have better odds of getting struck by lighting twice then getting something good from a loot box.

I think Bethesda are slowly getting worse then EA right now. But Yes I 100% agree with everything you said. Although Ubisoft are not innocent in this pay to "Enhance your gameplay" The lastest Assassins Creed and its EXP booster Coins etc etc.. but its no where near as bad as EA Activision and Assethsda.

Too bad they don't address player concerns. They probably wouldn't have investor concerns if they did.
