    So whats next for Ubisoft?

Now that we know the sales and support by community is bad, will Ubisoft

a)abandon ship, cut their losses and run
b)rebuild the game and blow our minds
c)do a bethesda and charge us for every update to make up for the losses

I believe they will make it right with the community by overhauling, if not.. issue refunds and move on. Btw... We tried to get them to open wildlands up to the mod community, but that didn't happen. Maybe thet will start listening.

I hope this doesn't turn into a yearly franchise like CoD or Battlefield. Those type games are just cut and paste rehashes from the previous year releases.

I hope they stick with breakpoint and work to try to make it into the game the community wants. If there is a new Ghost recon next year I'm not getting it.

I am pretty sure they will improve the game, like they did with Wildlands (sort of...), The Division 1, For Honor, R6 and as they are trying with TD2! :-)

That would be a really good way to give this a second chance. Let the community get involved in being able to fix some of the pieces. Cosmetics alone would add some life to it.

I try not to think about what I would like to see happen to people that turned the ghost recon games from a squad based shooter with AI teammates into a metal gear solid or splinter cell game, Muchless think about their future. It makes me want to chew on my controller.

Well they already tried to sell us every item in the game, including skill points, with the in game store, to make up for their losses because they saw the poor preorder numbers and knew the game wasn't going to sale good. They even went out and paid lil wayne to shill this game to the dummies that listen to his music, hoping that would bring in some sales, so I wouldn't put it pass them to try to squeeze some money out of our pockets for any future updates. I'm thinking, any new content is going to be very grindy but you could skip the grind by buying these time savers on the store! Just look at the battle pass and how grindy that is and then they put Nomad's avatar, the freaking protagonist, as the final reward..'Oh you wanna play as the guy in the trailers?, well here he is, you only have to spend about 100 hours doing mind numbing missions to unlock him, orrrr you could buy his avatar off the store =)"

I want them to diversify their games and keep their systems separate. The Division 2 is a great looter shooter but that does not mean I want every Ubi title to have tiered loot and spongy enemies. I'm also suprised Ubi considers the Division 2 as an under-performer as it was still the 6th best selling game of September across all platforms with plenty of competition.

With Breakpoint, I wanted a sequel to Wildlands that kept the mechanics that worked. AI Teammates, sandbox approach to missions, obtaining new weapons in the world, etc. Instead, the devs made a lot of Wildlands' flaws worse including character movement, itemization, enemy AI, and vehicle controls.

    To quote Josef Fares:

"All publishers muck up sometimes, you know?”

(slightly changed for the language filter)

I've found Ubisoft takes missteps seriously, they certainly appear to have done so in the past. The totally excellent AC Odyssey is still a recent game, so we know they can do great, and for that reason, I won't be walking away from playing their games anytime soon.
