For PC gaming I have to use an unsigned driver in order to use my Merc ZBoard Keyboard which I have had for a long time and really like using.
The Easy Anti Cheat System wont allow me to run the game at all.
This is grossly unfair as I'm 78 years old , don't play multi player or play contests.
All I ask is to be able to play the game I paid good money for in single player mode on a key board of my choice.
I really enjoyed playing the Arcade in Solo mode now I can't play anything at all in Far Cry 5.
Is there some way I can get the game going again using my ZBoard and please don't suggest asking Steel Series the makers of the board for a new driver as they won't help.
It's just not right and is surely discriminatory that I cannot play a game I have paid for because of this EAC.
Please find a way for me to continue to play MY paid for Game in Single Player mode using a key board of my choice .
If I may pop in, with a potential SUGGESTION for any Devs that see this... something that may help both types of players...
If EAC could have a Toggle, being Disabled (with Game Restart); but also at the same time, a Flag that is put on the Account/Player - one that would not allow any Multiplayer/Coop/etc, basically any interaction with other Players in any way, from that Account/Game/Player... that could potentially allow some Users to play Single Player Campaign and Arcade Single Player - while still protecting Multiplayer ("non-flagged") Accounts to interact and play with each other.
It could be some sort of Code Flag that essentially isolates the Player that has issues with the EAC, allowing both parties to enjoy the game content at the same time.
Just an idea. I'm not a programmer, so I'm not sure what issues this could bring up, I am just thinking out loud for the moment, after reading this. GL with it
