Great idea.
We also need multiple bikes to spawn if playing coop. Annoying to have just one spawn if we have a 2-4 man squad.
I am stealing this idea from another thread but I thought it was excellent regarding the usefulness of bivouacs. Perhaps this is for Extreme mode only.
When raiding/ looting a base, we should only have those items saved, if we make it back to our bivouac. The number of times I have cheesed a base just to get a unique drop. When I died and spawned a few hundred metres from the base It felt cheap when I could just run back in, get the drop and die immediately.
This would encourage a more tactical approach and exfiltration, both solo and in co-op. There would be more of those "oh ****" moments, and make the escape that much more satisfying when you escaped with loot drops that were valuable to you.
I know it's a bit "dark soulsy", but part of what made the challenge of that type of game so great was the consequence of dying and losing your "xp".
Again probably a higher difficulty option, but I assume most of the people who will play the game long term are more hardcore and want that additional challenge.
