[PC]Steam-Error Failed to start process for For Honor "Access is denied." (Ox5) Help? | Forums

I keep getting this error for two days now but this was working perfectly before.
I cleared download cache on steam, checked the integrity of the files, uninstalled and re installed For Honor.
I ran it as Admin and see if that would help, but nothing seems to be working.

Any suggestions or ways to fix it?

This is the only game with this error!

Sorry to hear that you are getting this error.

Do you have Windows Defender enabled? Another thread here found that this was the cause of the error and said that putting the game as an exception in there solved it.
