In Short I would like to see a compass very much like Apex Legends available at the top of the screen for those who want to play with minimal hud, and for those who want to play with no hud then perhaps an option to hide this compass by pressing down on the dpad to hide the interface.
It is important that the compass have notches as well as numbers so you can give an accurate callout to your team mate such as 'enemy patrol west 302' That will allow us to give better call outs to teammates when playing with minimal or no hud. And would not only be more realistic than using a ping. But also more efficient as we do not have to expose ourselves to danger to ping, not to mention the range limit on the ping anyway up to 150meters.
This compass could also transfer over to PvP to allow us to give accurate information to teammates.
