That is until a helicopter , drone or ******** sniper from across the map spots me inside a sense Forest of trees.

My point is. In the future something needs to be implemented to let us kill drones without alerting enemies.
No the game doesnt need orientate towards you need to adapt to the circumstance. As others have said ‘stealth’ is about strategy and yours if failing needs improving.

So what if the npcs go on yellow alert. All you need do is break contact and remain out of sight. That will require moving. No one approach fits all. Working this stuff out is part of the game. Good luck with it and i hope you have some fun trying different approaches.

It’s harder than Wildlands but watching patrol routes, shooting out lights, deactivating turrets and hiding bodies all help.

As I stealth the map I place mines and C4. If I get noticed the generator is blown and everyone rushes towards it tripping mines and walking into a grid of C4.

It’s as tactical as you want it to be - I don’t miss the homing AI from Wildlands who always knew where you were.
    Well, they still do :/
Maybe a bit less, but if you fire one shot and it's heard, the alarm guy will send a chopper towards you and they all hide in positions where you can't hit them or they just run straight towards you. Not in a general direction, but straight towards you

There are worksarounds for this. Diversion lures, but also detonating an explosive on the opposite side of you and them. That way they'll be drawn to the explosion and you can flank them as they'll be in cover facing the other way. The AI is nothing like in Wildlands in my opinion as these guys are a lot smarter.

Agreed, some say that GRWL had better AI, no way. They always moved in to your last location when you did something that alerted them, you couldn't even kill them 1 by 1 when being Hunted. Heck, they even knew where you shot that guy who got found few moments later or where you were when you used mortar or sync shot.

You can even toss nade when heing Hunted and they'll go to that direction, or take them down in stealth while they're searching for you. You can actually even kill them without everyone noticing while being Hunted, unlike in GRWL. Although, when you get caught and decide to stay in one place, you can just mow them down easily while they rush towards you. But it's quite the same in GRWL, you could use their mechanics to your advantage, although it is more tedious progress, more like cat and mouse with constant relocation. Sometimes they "bug out" and decide to stay behind cover forever, both games have that flaw.

The AI still has super human senses that know your exact pinpoint location but thanks a lot for this C4 information. It will be wonderful in coop:3

There shouldn't be anything that you can't disable with stealth. Usually I only neutralize enemies that get in my way of where I'm going or snipers/rocateers who pretty much instantly spot you. I can usually go through without an alarm, but damn drones see unconscious and dead enemies.

Are we fighting Skynet here? Maybe I could buy the AI in that case, not to mention we are supposed to fight a T-800 eventually.

I'm hoping the Engineer class will be able to stealthily neutralize drones and ground auto devices. Moving bodies is a nice touch, but it takes a solid 10 seconds, I have been spotted moving bodies more then I have just leaving dead bodies.

    We need the Ranger roll.

On a red alert yes, but you’ve been seen by then. Orange alert they search more generally and you can use this to pull enemies away from the objective.

The reinforcements still have a homing ability, but at least stop their vehicle and get out to hunt you rather than driving to the end of your toes like they did in Wildlands.
