That's how it is though right? When you lose it's much, much easier to blame it on deranking, energy cheating, the sun in your eyes, etc. Much harder to take a good look at your deck and your play style (recording yourself and watching the video... my god that is so helpful).
That said, deranking is definitely still a thing, just nowhere near as bad as it was.
100%? Really? Then the token hunter with 4 lvl4 legendaries and lvl7 commons I encountered several times in lower silver at the last event must be an illusion? Some of them seem to not have incentive to move up at all for the floor thing to actually work. I would say his name, but I know about the naming and shaming policy here.Originally Posted by camelchasers Go to original post
Not that it's preventing deranking 100%, but that the floor calculation is working 100% and stopping you from going lower than you should be able to go based on last season and this season max position.
Doesn't stop people from never advancing and holding themselves low. But that's what I wrote above, almost exactly.
yea gets tiresome, had this on tuesdays event, reached my highest rank ever (cos i'm not a **** and actually want the best) before losing a few, dropping a bit, while trying to go higher, switched to sci-fi and bam.... right down to 7000s, trying to recover all this rank? oh yea masses of 5 epics 4 leggies etc, sitting at similar levels so I feell even more, using the EXACT SAME DECK that got my highest rank, I fell to almost my floor, I wasn't deranking, others were, and this is the result. spent most of the next few days stuck at 7200s before climbing back up, each time playing air and honest, so yea, it is really time this was nipped in the bud because this situation cost me some bottlecaps on one of the days due to be sub 7k
I just mute the game... not worth putting up with griefers, people who don't like your deck, etc...Originally Posted by Dawnclaude Go to original post
