Can you do anything with the animals? I know in games like DayZ etc you can craft items from them if you kill them and quarter them... Is there some benefit to doing this in GRB?

What I'd like to see from animals is the animals alarming me, or the enemy, of an opposing forces presence, instead of the red areas. I mean, those pigs and deer make a lot of noise when running away, sometimes fairly close to an OF. I'm not in favor of crafting from the animals.

Cool idea op, but they need to fix a few other things first. So good luck on either happening.

Yes. You can shoot them and get animal protein to make rations. Should be all animals, but is bugged(like so much else). Now it is only birds and goats.

I want aggressive animals that attack you as well. Would be awesome to wrestle a bear or mountain lion then stab and gut them with the sweet animations.

At the moment there is no element of excitement in the game that should keep the toes of the player in relation to the environment.

They could be dangerous insects, birds of prey, predators, reptiles. Falling trees, loose rocks, landslides. Heat, cold, wetness

In the game, nature is too kind.

That is what I am talking about, I cant even count how many times I was killed by a badger or cougar in Far cry 3, not to mention gator, right after I got out of a car with which I fall to the lake from a bridge. Dangerous animals presence and some kind of animation, like when you trigger cqc, would be awsome!
