As the Title reads this is my feedback and review of the game after completing it 100%.
Read it,Dont read it Ubisoft,I really dont care.
English is my 3rd language so deal with my grammar.

I was really excited for breakpoint,enough for me to make the leap and for my 1st time ever pre-order a game.
I am saddened that I did.
Because my one criteria for not buying it,was the always online vs wildlands or ASC Odeysee online idea.
The feedback I got in return regarding this was a blatant lie as launch day proved.
But alas, I allready purchased and downloaded and by then played almost 6 hours.

I was and still am miffed by this.
I had to make my peace with this.I spent 60 buks..

When I fired up the game the first time everything went smooth as a hot knife through butter.
Then the cinematics started.and I was like..meh..thse graphics are wonked.
Get to the Profile creator part and am like...I am used to Wildlands..Did they not improve it one bit..at all??
I was and still am miffed at the choices,you litterally just had to copy paste Wildlands and add more options..
even if not many and slightly ajusted for breakpoint..
Its crap Ubisoft,seriously its crap.

I could live with the idea that my character had certain clothes on prior to getting on the chopper for the main mission.
But hell,wildlands could incorporate my custom look in the opening cinematic, when Boman brieved me on the chopper..after I created my character..
Why cant I change my apperance before the mission actually went underway..?? with the gear I actually want
Talking of which...where the hell is all the gear from wildlands gone..I understand that u are stranded on an island..
but hell you could have at least made an effort with more gear setups.
Hell there is a giant 3d printer and enough tech facilities with infrastructure,natural resources gallore, that i am picking up anyway for me to be able to legit
hack and get a gear blueprint like a Cryo vest, like Nomad wears in the cut scene when walker dies...there are so many elements u can utilize to incorporate these things,
and you just go...nah..

I could live without these..but then found how almost every bloody thing I wanted to customise my character with..which came as standard in wildlands..aka MC BLACK camo for one
is locked behind a whole bunch of bs.
I get it..stranded on an island..alone..
anyway it urked me no end when I realised I couldnt customise my character like I wanted to because you left the best gear in wildlands.
And didnt even try to improve on it.
And the gear that actually does look semi decent is locked behind ghost coins and or I have to grind my *** off to aquire skell credits to get.
Which I did.
I farmed nuiggets and opal and jade and bought everything in the store with skell credits that could be bought.
Guess what ..75% of it sucks..wildlands was better..copy paste..simple..but no.
Customization rant over..

Skip to hanging upside down and I was holy crap these graphics are wonked..
So when I finally was given control to play I went and started fidling with the video settings.
And for the life of me just could not get the Lighting right where I could actually see and enjoy playing.
It was only after I entered Erowon where I realized its the games Lighting system and that was supposed to look like that.
That started an on/off video testing session every now and again until i found a setting group that made things look nicer but also actualy be funtionaly playable.

And this is my very 1st Real issue I have with the game and gameplay :
The different Lighting aspects.
If I had a top of the range 4k system setup and screen that could utilize the games video aspects to its utmost fullest potential it
might be a viable option to incorporate..i think..
But I dont,I run 1080p at 55/66fps on a 60hz monitor on high settings with some custom ultra settings enabled.
I realized I had to change my video settings because at some points in the game,yes things are visible but bloody hell I just wasn't having fun in low light.
cause I could barely make out stuff.
So I decided to invest in Night vision as it would at least help me with those low light places on the fly like in wildlands..but no..
you had to go and make a propper bloody night vision system..
That just doesnt fit in a game where visibility is key,hell,I spent so much time in night vision mode it became near second nature in wildlands.
Because it was functional,not realistic,but functional enough to get the job done and be enjoyable.
Thats what Night vision is for..in a game..

So straight of the bat just by Lighting alone I sensed Ubisoft tried going for realism,which I applaud.
But the fuzzy low light makes for an unpleasant gaming experience,more so because even at Night the night vision is useless unless it is pitch dark...
which if u have played breakpoint for more than 2 hours u realise isnt very dark..
but not light either..just plain daft difficult to see in.
I eventualy unlocked thermals and was very surprised,they are way better than in wildlands for me and enjoyed using them.
The thermals became my go to Night vision for dark areas..not because I wanted to..but because i had to..because the night vision due to the low light is useless.

The fundamental issue with the lighting in this regard is very simple,it forces me to engage my targets in broad daylight,
where I can actually see what it is I am shooting at because the tools you gave me are useless.
This means I cant have a strategic base take down at night that i love like in wildlands.
Not enjoyable at least.
I get it,u went for realism and ruined the experience.
Because realism..add levelled loot boxes in the same sentence..I dare u..
So the lighting is a downer for me,and affects gameplay and choices on a fundamental scale.
With tools that arent capable of delivering.
because..realism..

Next: The Plot and Story Line.
What the hell am i supposed to be doing here..what is the point of all this..??

Seriously..in wildlands i had a narrative driven story line which was slightly cheesy and propaganda filled ,Simple enough and put forth in a manner that was simple to understand,
but was enjoyable to wander through at my own pace.
In the manner I wanted to,with each province, the ai squads reactions and story and brief from boman gave a sense off purpose to why i was there.
It worked brilliantly. For me at least.
But breakppoint...??

I get why I am on the Island,according to the opening credits and the crash etc..but after I reached erowon..which I still have weird mixed feelings over.
I was and still am very confused as to what I was doing there.or what I had to do...nevermind the lack of a punch madz in the face option,
every time i had to speak with that clown i wanted to punch him in the mouth. and dont get me started on the generic mellenial ******bags scattered all over the island..
who the hell came up with that narrative..
hell i wanted the world 2.0 just so they could die beingh assymillated..

ok follow the yellow dot after trying to figure out how to get to it..seriously things are wayyy too messy and bussy on that map..
A simple press button to hide unhide markers would be nice,or map settings in the settings tab at least to configure it.
Anyway..

I eventually started going further with the story missions after bout 50hours in game..yeah..that says everything you need to know about breakpoint.
Because..I was levelling and looting gear..trying to understand why i needed to level up in a tactical mill simm as it was adverstised to be??
Seriously,i tried not be pulled in by the whole levelling looter shooter crazies dumping all over the game..
But hell..AFTER 90 HOURS..
I am saddened..because I understand what they are saying and more so why they are saying it now.

And it was the small things that got me.
It really ruined the absolute glorious foundational mechanics this game is built on.
And the absolute masterpiece that would easy get GOTY that is the foundational underpinnings of this game,
is lost and drowned in a cestpool of unwanted and un needed elements that dont even belong in mobile gaming..or casinos.

It is the foul taste in my mouth of what could have been and what is.
There are so many elemts that they get perfect,just to be ruined by this horrid nonsense,and piss poor story line and dumb choice narratives that are irrelevant
because they have zero accountability or inpact for what you choose.

You ruined this game for me Ubisoft.
There are moments of sureal brilliance followed by..face palming madding stupidity.
I hated the sliding aspect for one,I love the idea.
but the implimentation is horrible.
At least give me the option to shoot while sliding with no stamina drain..why for ffafs sake is there stamina drain on a slide.
You know how bloody awsumly cool it would be sliding past a bunch of wolves casualy plonking a grenade next to them while i slide past..hit with my feet running and causing mad chaos..
You ruined that idea..

Whoever does or did the research on the weapons and what ammo and accesories they use...they need to be fired
I get having .338 LM rounds for SNR,but plain .338 on a weapon that clearly fires .50 BMG rounds..seriously..or a .45 UMP firing 9mm rounds..
just google for 10 mins..pls I beg you do something but fire that person asap..and get your facts together..this is ghost recon not toys are us..

Why did u change the ammo types on the LMG'S all to 5.56 mm ?? with the last patch.
Explain to me what the difference is between a 5.56 mm round and 7.62 mm ??
And why a stoner 69 running 5.56mm was chosen by the Seals over other 7.62 mm LMG's?
Because there is a bloody good reason.
More so explain to me, now that all the LMG's in game are 5.56 mm,how does that affect theyre stats and did you actually change the stats to compensate..
and what did you base those figures on..??
And how does the levelling system affect those figures??
Because hell..are we still talking about a mill simm tactical shooter game here??|
What the hell is this game??
Because it sure as hell is not a ghost recon game.
At the very bloody least get ure bloody facts right.

Base jumping..why the hell is there base jumping in a game that fundametally only works when u actually parachute out of a chopper..

what the hell is wrong with the bloody movement physics..i get you wanted to go for realism..but surely there are better ways of movement.
Hell I would kick nomads *** every single time in any fight if thats how he moves.
Come on,the movement physics are daft as all hell.
more so when you are in close quarters or trying to get to cover or stay in cover or move in cover..
bloody hell 75% of the time i am spending my time in cover trying not to die because of the wonky cover and movement mechanics.
Even after the patch that says it fixed it..
I had this issue with movement physics in ASC Oddessey and I see you brought it over into breakpoint.
it infuriated me there and it does now.

I have much more to say..but the more I type the madder I am getting.
Because you ruined your own masterpiece..and for what??

I will never suggest this game to anyone.
Because its fundamentally flawed in every single aspect,and at best is still in Beta.
Even that can be overlooked.
I would never suggest this,because it is not what it claims to be.
It was and still is false advertising Ubisoft.
I played what I felt was worth 60 dollars of my time.
I will suck that up to my bad judgement.

But u will never see another cent from me again.
