It just makes some combos almost unstoppable for a lot of damage. If you try to parry an oppenent’s feint into guardbreak, and catch yourself doing so and cancel the attack. The guardbreak can’t be countered. Same if you try to dodge. It just seems cheesy to me and leads to a lot of frustration
If you cancel your attack you can counter gb, and dont try to parry EVERY attack otherwise people will feint it you have to be smart. guard breaks are also the only counter to dodging I'm sure you wouldn't like it if your opponent dodges every attack and cant be countered.
