Fury’s Braided Ponytail & Further Customization

I was really hoping to use from the beginning or at least be able to unlock Fury’s hairstyle later in the game. But as of right now this doesn’t look to be in the game at all, with no indication with as to what has happened to it or if it is being added later. Can you please provide some insight with what’s happening here please Ubisoft?

I was really excited see Fury with the game reveal and in all the gameplay shown leading up to launch, as she looks super awesome; totally a badass while still embracing some of her femininity, I love it totally inline with how I would envision my character. So you can understand my disappointment with not seeing her hairstyle anywhere.

As some side thoughts, could we please have some additional hairstyles and colours? I would really love to have some more actual women’s hairstyles in the game and maybe some of the more fun hair colours (green, purple, blue, etc); think Ela, Valkyrie, Hibana, IQ, etc from R6. My BF was also hoping/wanting to see some more military style cuts too, with Cole Walker’s being one of he options he would really like to see.

The addition of the scuba gear is amazing, and I love how I can essentially create my two favourite operators from R6; being Ela and Valkyrie though the sizing around the knees/calves look a little excessively bulky or slightly off with the scuba pants (for the female characters anyway).

I would also love to see some of the 5.11 women’s skinny pants and tactical leggings in the game, especially with you having the partnership with them. Some more coats, jackets and winter gear would be really great too for when we are in the colder regions, as I really like being able to have my different outfits for each region. My BF was also mentioning that it would be really nice to see some more damaged/ripped clothing options other than just Nomad’s shirt, giving that more battle hardened, rough look.

    Thanks!!

Well sadly it seems that the ponytail now actually IS Fury's hairstyle. They changed it and it was also changed on the lookalike costume you can buy for skell credits. The old/original one was only in the OTT's and is still featured on their official cosplay guide called 'Braided hair'. I am not sure why they changed it. Maybe they had some technical issues with it, clipping, or even a resource bottleneck from which they had to squeeze a bit more memory or whatever. Who knows....

+1 especially for the braid making a return.

I think you get a pair of ripped pants with bandages and stuff on them for either the special edition (or whatever it's called) or the pre-order bonus IDK.

Well hopefully we can get some answers, and even see it return soon. Perhaps with some more hair styles too. It seemed to work well in all of the content/gameplay previously shown, but yeah this is not to say that there may have not been issues they were dealing with

Oh and thank you for the tip on the ripped pants. My BF and I had held off on the pre-order due to all the controversy, but ended up deciding to grab the game as it looked like a lot of fun to us; we really enjoyed plaything through div 1, div 2, & Wildlands together. I will mention this to him

There are so many posts about this hairstyle with people asking what happened to it and no one from ubi or the moderators have ever answered it. Which is rude as ****.

Well this makes me quite disappointed and rather sad if this has already been brought up numerous times and still constantly neglected... I would have to agree, the constant ignoring/silence is quite rude and disrespectful Ubi... for both those inquiring about this before me, myself now, and in regards to some of my additional thoughts that would fit in this world and nice to see in game.

Have been enjoying the game a fair bit thus far, and have been a big supporter of your various games for some time now. But I am growing more and more disenchanted with the continual manner in which myself and others are being ignored over what would be a simple discussion. It is insulting to say the least...

I harbour no il will and been having a great time with my BF playing through the game, we have really been enjoying it and having a lot of fun. However I am rather not too impressed that not one person from Ubi has taken the time to provide any kind of response or acknowledgement to my inquiry/thoughts, and even worse that anyone else who has particularly asked about Fury’s braided ponytail has been left in the dark as well.

I am sorry but I am going to continue to ask until someone finally decides to pay myself and others some attention, and give the common courtesy of a response to this issue. I would think interacting with your fan base and customers that really enjoy your games/products, especially when being done in an manner that is respectful would be quite an easy thing to do.

All the best to you all, and thanks for the great game. I cannot wait to see what you have in store for us with the raid, with my BF eagerly awaiting the terminator event (he is a big fan haha). But some interaction in regards to my inquiries and what has happened with the original Fury hair style that myself and many others are curious about would be greatly appreciated.

I hope they bring it back and add some realistic hairstyle but not holding much hope for any of it. All of the female characters needs to be reworked to reflect human women from Earth as well.

    As for their attentions for us.. Well This reminds me;

I would like to think Ubi is levels above that kind of nonsense.

    Still waiting Ubisoft...

I hope you have snacks with you. It's going to be a long wait. With Wildlands, Ubi never directly responded to anything posted on the forums. At best you'd get a "I've brought this to the attention of the dev team". Look in the news/announcements forums. Every post in there is "We're happy to tell you about what's coming up... in the patch that will arrive in 17 hours." I understand about being cautious with what information or promises they provide in regards to upcoming content or changes, but Ubi jumps from one end of the spectrum to the other. Before a game is launched, they'll over promise on everything, as soon as it comes out though, they turtle up.(Hopefully out of shame, knowing how they under delivered on their promises)

But as far as the hair is concerned, it would be right to have what we were told we were paying for, but it would be equally as acceptable if they would just say "We had to redesign it because of <insert any reason what-so-ever here>."
