Hi, guys.
Last time I've logged in right after TU5 content release - and was playing other games since then.
Yesterday I've came back to Division 2 to check out TU6 updates - and I remembered why I leaved it: still a tons of items, nothing is clear from first look, gear mods still do not have any kind of sorting by slot or attribute, huge spam of loot - yeah, now its targeted, but I've passed Roosevelt Island, got about 15(fifteen!) green(set) items - and 0 useable.
Why this game still trying to force players spend their time on senseless calculating of gear and mod items matching - instead of playing?
Who thinks that this is FUN?
I like this game, and I want to play it - NOT to filter 30-40 items from SINGLE mission run!
The new system is absolutely great.
I only do missions or things in the open world with focused loot. After two days i have a perfect build with 60% crit, 65% dmg to elite, 15% Armor at kill (with Gunner), Armor at crit, 70% weapon dmg (LMG), a lot of bonus dmg while covered.
Can easy run everything solo.
TD2 is so genius since TU6. Thanks for this!
I made a decent sb out of everything in my stash after tu6. been on everyday for 4 to10 hrs trying to get better gear, even though I can target the brands I want I still have nothing I can use. Every thing I have got needs 2 recalibration on it. Before tu6 it was harder to get the right brands but I got better rolls, i have not got anything with close to the rolls I got before tu6. For example out hundreds of chest pieces the highest sp has been 511 the lowest is 129 with least 1 other crappie roll if not 2, before tu6 I was getting them all the time with 600 to 1000 the highest one I got was 1057 and they only need one recalibration, most did need a different color though. its easier to get brand pieces but it never gives good rolls, allowing to roll 2 is the only way to address this problem. No one wants to grind for days and not get a single piece that is better than what they have. Itd be different if the game was as old as d1, and you knew that there were no higher rolls out there. Makes me wonder if the devs put a much lower drop rate for good quality gear because they thought their target loot system and changed of a color color recalibration was going to be break the the challengeing or grinding for gear!
