Sorry to see this Wolf. Could you try opening the Network and Sharing Center by right clicking on the network icon on your desktop and then select Open Network and Sharing Center. Then right click on the network adapter you are looking to change and then select Properties.Originally Posted by THICC-WOLF Go to original post
Once done, uncheck the box for Internet Protocol Version (TCP/IPv6) and then click OK, then try again to see if it works. Keep us updated!
I am also suffering with the same problem and im on PC. Its been 2 days without Siege and my hands start to shake. I tried all these fixes (changing date of the PC, uncheck Internet Protocol Version (TCP/IPv6), verify game on Uplay) nothing seemed to work. It was happening to both the main client and TS on Saturday 19th Oct but as of Sunday 20th Oct, TS was able to connect to Ubisoft servers but still no luck with main client. Please help me!
Thank you for getting back to me, sorry to hear you're also experiencing this issue.Originally Posted by ArsenDeath Go to original post
Here are some steps for us to try: https://support.ubi.com/en-GB/faqs/000025657/
That should be enough to resolve your issue, however if it remains, please create a support case with the following:
- An image of your router’s port forwarding page
- Up to date system reports (https://support.ubi.com/faqs/0000264...ag-and-Msinfo/)
- Up to date Uplay PC logs (launcher, network info and service logs)
By default, your launcher logs can be found in the following location:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\logs
I hope that helps!
I have had the same error message for about 5 months now.I contacted Ubisoft Support to no avail. And i have tried about 17-18 solutions from around the web(and these forums but nothing seems to work.
It's a shame that i won't be able to play AC Origins,Odyssey,Far Cy 5,Watch Dogs 2,etc.But not to worry, there are plenty of games from other companies which i can still play.
Colin

Thanks for getting back to me Colin!Originally Posted by sudsymalone Go to original post
As you said there is a lot of history in your case, a lot of information to take in. I will do my best to summarise and we can take it from there:
- You have tried following our Uplay PC connectivity FAQ, resetting your network, resetting Winsock and disabling Ipv6 (your network doesn't use this, so it's likely not a factor)
- Your primary network is a public WiFi
- You experienced the same issue on a friend's network
Please clarify the following:
- When your friend tries to log into HIS Ubisoft account on his network, does he experience the same issue? I'm wanting to be sure if this issue is account-specific
- Was the public WiFi network a temporary solution, or is this the network you always use?
The previous conclusion was that this issue may be out of our hands, as a public WiFi network potentially has a lot of network & security settings outside of your control, not to mention many other people potentially using the network.
I want to do everything I can to help you Colin as I appreciate it's not ideal, I hope to hear from you soon![]()
Hi Raziel
Yes when my friend tried to access HIS Ubisoft account on his network,he can log on okay. But i can't log onto my Ubisoft account on his network.
The public Wifi network i use,i have been using for 2 years.
My public Wifi service changed it's name on the 3rd of April 2019,BUT i still managed tp play a game on Uplay(code 273,from my C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames)directory.So if the the Public Wifi changed any features of its Wifi service, why could i Log onto Uplay then but not now?.Before My public Wifi service changed it's name on the 3rd of April 2019,i was able to access my Uplay account okay.
Look forward to hearing from you
Thank you
Colin
PS below is a copy of the response i got from the techs at My public Wifi service
Hello Colin,
Thanks for getting in touch!
Looks like It's quite a tricky issue.
Just to confirm that we only operate with IPv4 Address's and IPV6 has nothing to do with us. I've also asked the network team and they confirm that nothing of this nature is being blocked, I'm not sure if this factors in their diagnostics when you contacted them. Generally if the Internet is working with everything else it could be stemmed from another issue such as ports, firewalls or even an antivirus.
Please let me know if you need any further assistance.
Kind regards,
Carlos - Wifinity Support
I appreciate the detailed response!Originally Posted by sudsymalone Go to original post
Considering you have been able to use that network for all this time, it's likely not an issue with the network. It's one of the main avenues we must discuss as every network is different, and often there are settings out of our control.
Knowing that your friend is able to sign into his Ubisoft account is very helpful, and it also leads me to more questions:
- Prior to attempting to log into your friend's network and experiencing this error, did you ever sign into Uplay on his PC in the past?
- Is your friend able to sign into his Ubisoft account while connected to your network?
The steps above will help me be certain that this is an account-specific issue and not a network issue, like we first thought.
Thanks again!
