I mean come on. This is simple sentence structure. Thankfully this one had a giant body of water where it said it would be so I was able to go around the dumb description but some of these are just terrible.

I'm pretty sure the way they made it was so the directions start from where the actual name of the place is written on the map. So the location (Southern Coal Islands Base) in your screenshot is south of the spot on the map where the name Coal Islands is written over the water and directly east of where on the map is written the words Lighthouse Point. The part that you circled would technically be called South of the Southern Coal Islands Base, or far South of the Coal Islands. Regardless, I agree with you that the wording on the quest was poorly written. It should have said "Southern Edge of Coal Island, directly east of Lighthouse Point." or something like that.

Cuba is south of Florida. Cuba is not Southern Florida.

My impression was that the "description" was more of a "go explore" kind of description than actual directions, so the wording made sense. However, I can certainly see how they would drive you nuts if taken literally. It bothered me some until I just figured they were advisory.

New argyll, promised land ? That one was so annoying to find, since ... it's not in new argyll and promised land isn't either lol. Good luck finding that landmark to orient yourself.

There was also a pistol blueprint like that. Probably spent an hour looking and finally gave up and went to youtube to find out.
