Hi guys,
This issue will be fixed in an update that will be released tomorrow:

Yes, the update fixed the problem for my 5700 XT. And yes I'm very excited about Assassin's Creed: Valhalla!
And thanks again. And also many kudos to this 'seamless' transition to a more of a rpg game. I really like the idea of a settlement mechanic, something to call 'home' and see it grow. Action rpg with some city building elements? Oh yeah, I'm in.
It worked good for me too except in the very beginning where you have to fight Persophone's guards where it use to crash. It wouldn't let me pull out my bow for about 15 seconds and I had to do a couple of dodge and rolls to void taking damage but after that everything worked as it should ..... It's a weird feeling pulling the left trigger several times and nothing happens .... Taking them on with melee weapon with a glass cannon Hunter build wouldn't be a lot of fun for me .... Only +40% Warrior damage at level 99 would have been like trying to beat them to death with a toothpick
