Could you please confirm the following:

. What model is your Xbox One console?
. What is the audio output on your Xbox One?
. What is the audio output on your TV?
. Are you using any speakers?
. Do you have a headset? If so could you test if you still experience this issue with a headset.

Could you also provide a screenshot of your audio settings in game and a video of the issue.

My sound breaks completely for around 3-4 seconds anyone else get this?

. What is the audio output on your TV? My monitor has no audio. It's a PC monitor
. Are you using any speakers? No

Xbox One X

No audio connected to the TV, no speakers used.

Headset connected to a wireless controller.

Also tried different headset options on the Xbox Itself, using default stereo, as well as Dolby Atmos, but no change.

Here's a clip, starting by showing in game audio settings.. But it's just the default.. Though I had been playing music off initially when I first noticed missing audio after the update..

In the clip it's raining, and you can hear some random foley audio details.. And a short distance away there's some flowing water and a crashed heli.. As I get closer you can start to hear rain impact sound on the heli, and some of the flowing water I think.. And then it fades out again as I move away from the heli..

But this is just rain sound.. I think there's more missing audio than that.. I think there's also missing wind sound.. Going through trees and what not.. There's still the random foley details work.. But it's as if what's missing is longer pieces of subtle audio that constantly fills in the gaps..

And it's not just helicopters that has rain impact.. It's some various places, I just noticed it on the side of a cliff I went down.. I heard rain as I went over the edge, and as I walked down.. But then it faded away once I got on the ground again.

AUDIO IS BUGGED (rain , wind , audio from news reports , lightning , aerial drone)

XBOX ONE X - digital copy from console's in game store
running optical out from console to headset amp (DSS) and then headset (tb x-1)

Rain is buggy , you can hear it standing next to vehicles and some environmental elements like a tarp draped over boxes, but pretty much anywhere else it's dead silent.
Audio from news reports is gone. I can see a woman talking , lips moving but no sound.
Lightning sound is gone.
Aerial drone , I'm not sure I've ever heard it I always thought it was silent.
Wind clips in and out , it has a whooshing on/off like effect. Like someone is unplugging a vacuum cleaner.

Same here.....I have an Xbox One X conected to a Yamaha Aventage 770 receiver with xbox running dolby atmos and after the latest update most ambient sound were gone.....when skydiving from a helicopter....only sound is the ones from the character.....no wind......upon landing.......some ambient sounds dissapears......no rain no wind.....only footsteps and this cause a lost in inmersion of how awesome this game sound is at least before rhe update an in both betas that I tried (closed and open) and I tried everything mentioned here including reinstalling the game and moving the fame from external hd to the internal.....nothing works......binoculars gone too......someone on Erewhon must have took it from me : )
Anyway....this is an awesome game and I play with my friends a lot but its potential is getting wasted and ruined with the amount of bugs it have after update. Please Ubisoft...do something about it.....
