Let's change a little bit the topic. No hates or bugs now . What's your favourite weapon? Stats/in game feel/look of the gun... Trying to find the "best ones", but still not decided, mainly in SMGs

Sniper rifles: bolt action sniper rifles are punishing, you have to kill with the first shot if you want to stay in stealth. So i am considering only those ones with the highest damage. And the best one for me is Tac-50 so far.

DMRs: no doubt G28. Good all rounder with proper rolled bonuses. Also, this gun is sexy.

Assault rifles: used only few of them, liked Tavor, G36C and Bren.

SMGs: my primary weapon. Still not decided between MP5 and SN-9. MP5 is more deadly, but SN-9 seems to have better stability. Also that Bullpup is good, but ugly.

Shotguns: not using at all.

LMGs: no silencers, not interested.

Pistols: barely using, but running PX4.

Me as and in Wild lands more just likes 416. And of course the AK74 because of my army service.

I mainly use a G28, Bren 805, any 9mm SMG, definately a Stoner LMG, and any high dmg Sniper that happens to drop. I know this doesnt sound like a Favorite weapons reply but let me explain.
I mostly like to assault my challenges because I find the action exciting. Therefore I use ALOT of bullets grenades, and rockets. I sometimes can run low or even run out of a particular bullet so I need to switch to another Caliber that I have available.

My three mainstays are G28 fully upgraded, Bren 805 fully upgraded, and Stoner LMG fully upgraded. The others I use for ammo backup.

I actually like the M4 for a shotgun, sure is nice against drones and close up work.

TAC-50 for sniper and SVD-63 for DMR.

Bren or vhsd2 for assault rifle.

MP7 for smg and m9 pistol.

without a doupt the 416 and the AUG, i would like the G36C or the AK 12 too but the lack of a dedicated single shot fire mode which is how i operate my AR's 99 % of the time in the game makes me not wanting to use them.

i am an AR guy so i rarely use anything else, though i have a MP 5 as backup weapon and i quite like the 5.7 pistol.

if i need a DMR or a sniper rifle i just use whatever i have in my inventory at the moment i need it.

In PvE I’ll use the highest gearscore gun I have but I personally like the MK17. Nice uhmpf! without a silencer. Goes for any high powered rifle I guess. As a handgun anything but a Desert Eagle, only use it for silent kills so kind of need a suppressor.

In PvP I use the SC20(?) nice balance between fire rate and damage, shoots like a laser! Backing that up with the M82, or maybe a HTI. HTI has no bullet drop on normal PvP distances but the M82 can shoot another round for the kill before the enemy can move, just in case I can’t get the headshot. Handguns are absolutely useless right now since you can have 2 primaries. Used the “Walker handcannon” once on a dude, headshot, no kill. Two more bodyshots and he still had time to run away :’D.

G28 maybe my fav for both modes.

Tac50 as a main. DMR of whatever for niche situations, and whatever the best ASR is when something turns to helter skelter or crowded room to room, a pistol only when I'm crippled, and never use any SMG, LMG. and I only "carry" one weapon on my back.
