    Goodbye For Honor

I quit this game. For at least 3 months. I just cannot get any enjoyment from the game at the moment. You rarely see old characters, the game is just focusing on bringing out new characters to take over the beauty of the game. I never liked waiting for my opponent to attack but I just see no way in playing my favorite character (Centurion) without doing so. I am just sick of getting ridiculed by toxic players for playing Centurion, and losing

Without the ability to enjoy Centurion, I have lost the ability to enjoy the game, and so I am quitting until he becomes fun to play. I get stressed, I feel stupid and powerless. It affects my health and I have to let it go until the state of the game improves

I will not return to the forums until then so I hope it stays clean and everyone gets along. Have a good game, guys

I dont blame you. A lot of people are leaving this game. The matchmaking is a mess. Raider and hitokiri are EXTREMELY unfun to fight. And the worst part (for me at least) is how little the dev team are actually talking about these issues. It feels like they just want people to forget about the problems.

But cent rework will be coming out in about a month, if all things go well. So you wont have that long to wait.

Yes, Cent's rework shouldn't be too far off so at least check him out before making a final decision. Until then, bye for now and take care.

The Cent changes are still on the horizon, as a couple of other people have said. Hopefully you'll stop by and check those changes out when they go live.

The only thing I want to mention is that Centurion was at one point of the new heroes that people took issue with. If I could time travel back and tell myself that most people would eventually call for Centurion buffs on the For Honor forums, late 2017/early 2018 me would have not accepted this as true (in addition to having questions about how time travel was possible).

We'll be here should you decide that it's right for you to return. Take care of yourself!

One true thing has been said here, Raider and Hito are obvious issues but we did not have any comment about it by the team.

They said a long time ago Hito HA gonna be delayed but not change so far and we didnt have any comments about Raider..

I think its really important that the team show more reactivity and answer the community's concern. Not everything of course, but Hito and Raider are both huge issue and the team should be talking about their plan for those asap.

I think people would be a lot less frustrated if the team shared more things with us
Thats just a friendly suggestion as i think it would be as important as the changes made to the heroes themselves when it comes to giving the community the communication they would love to with the team.

In my modest opinion FH has a very rich community with players really involved in their game and i do think the team is not using that enough.

TG is a good start, but the team need to improve a lot their communication and reducing the live den wasnt very Smart ^^

It would be cool if we could have asap a statement on Raider and Hito case from them.

    Noted.

Internally we talk about Hitokiri and Raider regularly, bringing up the typical feedback on Hitokiri's early hyper armor startup + Raider's high damage and animations. Like I've said in a number of other threads about these heroes, the team can see the win-rates, the community discussion, and the viability in recent Dominion tournaments.

In terms of Warrior's Den: all that actually changed is that Dens that only contained the regular weekly info became articles instead of streams. I don't think anything about our actual flow of releasing information changed, and now you can be pretty certain that something interesting will come out of each stream.

This change was based on pretty clear + consistent community feedback.

I stopped playing For Honor months ago for a similar reason, because the Devs ruined the Shinobi by nerfing the hero into the ground with Patch 2.11.

Absolutely nothing has been done to fix to the viability of the Shinobi even though it is painfully obvious that a rework has been needed for a long time now. Instead, all I have seen are nerfs and some of those nerfs were not even documented in the Patch notes which is either the result of intentional deception or pure incompetence.

I have also not seen a single comment from the For Honor team that has acknowledged the excessive vulnerabilities of the Shinobi in a 1v1 fight. The Shinobi lacks offense and the only viable strategy are variations of hit-and-run tactics because his movesets are too easy to interrupt and too risky to use in a head-to-head fight. The current design of the Shinobi makes his movesets primarily geared to work against the Shinobi Player and there is nothing balanced about that design of having every move used as your own handicap while other heroes do not have this same excess of vulnerabilities.

So until the Shinobi gets fixed, I'm avoiding this game as if it's a pile of human excrement. In the mean time, I'm rarely active on the forums now and instead I spend my money and free time in League of Legends. I only check these boards to see if any progress has been made on the Shinobi. It looks to me like more players are taking my position of simply abandoning this game because these heroes are clearly getting neglected; players are growing tired of waiting for these issues to get resolved so that For Honor becomes playable again.

Welcome to the club, Tocksyk; I can say from experience that leaving the game is more enjoyable rather than continuing to play after having your favorite character get completely thrown under the bus like what they did to the Shinobi.
