Or just turn off the generator and watch how the entire base walks up to the button in a beeline this is so ridiculous it hurts.... 1 C4 and you cleared the base.

Ubisoft even coded the driving drones and tanks into hovercrafts (they have wheels like normal cars but they can float sideways twice as fast as they usually drive) because they knew the AI is so damn stupid and couldn´t handle a single object like rocks/trees or anything else with normal vehicle behavior!!!!
Taking the generator out is the first thing I do on all bases that have them, I have yet to see any ai come to investigate, maybe as I'm off round the base killing others quietly instead of waiting to see if I can cheese a resultz.

Then do it at nighttime instead of daytime...
This ridiculous thing is already a meme and everyone except you know about it.

I have been grinding for TWO character each 400 point each day! And in PvP it is very easy and fast! 2-3 hours in PvP to get 400 point for TWO characters!

So this is why we now get lazy AI coding in games. Apparently a more difficult AI is just about how much more damage they deal and how accurate they are. You realise that's basically all the difficulties do right? It even says it when choosing the level of difficulty. They spot you quicker (still have to be relatively close - 65m I tested standing up until they started spotting me on Extreme), deal more damage to you and are much more accurate as well as you taking longer to auto regen (which is lame and shouldn't be in game anyways considering the bandages and injection healing mechanics).

There are no tactics or thought logic differences between difficulties. They stand in the open when being shot at, run directly at you in the open, don't try and flush you out with throwables or any suppression while others flank. Oh their buddies have just been killed right next to them all laying in a pile? Don't worry just camp and along some more will come for you to kill in the same way as they don't think to NOT go where everyone is dying and try to find another route. They don't think to throw a grenade or flashbang into a room you are in to get you but decide to walk slowly in for you to kill them like the 15 buddies before them.

Same on Arcade as to Extreme. That is lazy AI and if you think the AI is good on Extreme just because they are more accurate and deal more damage then damn you have seriously low expectations.

It's actually a joke that people have been suckered into this game. I mean there are some real good aspects of this game but if you actually take off your bias goggles, you will see this game is half-baked and not worth the money people have been charged at launch and is a bad/average game at best just about worth an indie game price.

"Ah but people are just listening to the YouTuber hate malarkey!" Yes some are but a lot are not. People fail to realise that there were 2 OTTs and 2 betas where people have actually had hands on and made the decision for themselves. They also would've seen the game in videos posted and live streamers (just to take the argument of editing out if the equation) to clearly see the state of the game has not changed from these 4 hands on. They tell their friends and family so they don't buy. So it's not all YouTube hate and people being sheep. And how people can say it's Pepe jumping on the bandwagon is crazy without proof. It's just an argument for someone who has a differing opinion - "Ah but I think it's a good game so it MUST be that everyone is just copying everyone and not that it is actually bad, waaahhhh 😭"

People believe the hype of a game before launch and positive advertising of games which makes them buy it yet are so quick to dismiss the opposite bad advertising or criticism of the game. Hypocrisy at its best.

There is definitely a missed opportunity in doing something ground breaking and more engaging with the A.I. And from the reveal, what they sold; is watered down.

But the AI works, I have been flanked and they have thrown throwables at me, when in range.

But you make a lot of good points , however when taking into account industry standards and precedents set in gaming with AI, GRB is one of the better ones.

You must be trolling. Seriously... it´s the only explanation for your answer... or you´re playing a different game or got into the wrong forums (maybe you´re playing The Division where the AI actually tries to flank and has throwables)

AI don´t use throwables, because they have none..... the circle that sometimes appear is the mortar!!!!
AI doesn´t flank, because it doesn´t know how to do it since it´s not even inside the code.... the code only tells them to beeline to your last position and there´s only a visualcheck in the code (a room for example can have 3 entries, but they all walk the through the same door standing (and dieing) on the same pile of bodies like all the others

    Dang, that was entertertaining.
That intro really came together too.

It is just becoming more and more evident that there are some serious priority blunders with the Breakpoint.

It seems factual to me that online functionality, loot/tier systems, multiplayer, and monetization were of much greater priority than aspects of authentic weapons/equipment function, survival elements, gaming/performance quality, and franchise theme. That doesn't even seem subjective in any sense, just apparently obvious.

Those facts make me have to go into deep pretend mode with many self imposed restrictions in order to enjoy the game solo; which I can do, but it is a stretch at times.

I was fortunate that a very generous friend of mine gifted me Breakpoint. As a fan of Ghost Recon and because of the experience we can get out of it as a team of friends, those are the last saving graces of this title, for me. I will not buy a single micro transaction item. I do NOT see any future Ubi developments that I would ever consider buying at this point. I used to enjoy titles such as Far Cry and Rainbow 6. I have not played any Far Cry since Blood Dragon(80's ultraviolence won me over), nor any Rainbow 6 since the Ravenshield expansions, not out of protest, but simply because they have turned bad for my liking. I can accept where this trend is leading. There are other options.

The Angry Joe review isn't something I would 100% agree with or even necessarily care about, but he was damn amusing and dead right about some things. Some things that a lot of people are saying.

Actually been flanked maybe its me moving and the beeline turns into a flank. Accidental AI?

Yeah funneling through the door is apparent.. but only if you sit inside the door.
