That's not grind, that's enjoyment. You are doing it for a challenge.Originally Posted by KylarZe Go to original post
Or if you don't enjoy it, why do it as the rewards are just nice-to-have fluff, they are unessential.
Lol this guy literally makes a living off of clickbait "angry reviews." Check his channel. Just about every game - and movie - released has an "angry review." So here he is, playing on easy mode difficulty with full HUD and enemies showing on the minimap and complaining about the AI being stupid and the game is too easy...well gee...must be a terrible game then hur dur dur. Did anyone else notice the irony of this clown giving an "angry review" while an ad for GRB pops up? You know those youtube ads pay his bills and the more clicks he gets = more ad revenue generated = bigger paycheck right? The Billy Mays part was funny though and that was about it - other than that it's just a bunch of screaming and trying too hard to be funny...kind of like Dane Cook only less funny. And I didn't think that was possible.
100% optional and actually faster to just play a few rounds of Ghost War...Originally Posted by KylarZe Go to original post
While i don't have a huge amount of issues with joe and his reviews, he is a whining little baby when it comes to games, specially console reviews and anybody with commonsense wouldn't pay much attention to his reviews to be honest.
He's whining about the map been large but would whine if it's too small.
He whines about having choppers to move around the "big map" but would whine if he had to drive or walk..
He says ubisoft tricked an actor to be in a game? how brain dead is that comment..
Whines about the story then whines about the flashbacks adding to the story..god knows how anybody plays co-op with him with all the whining.
His "youtube" name and channel gives his viewers the impression he always has to be angry at game reviews and it's amazingly fake from the get go, they spend more time with elaborate starts to their videos then on the reviews themselves...just to earn money from them, and will be seen many times whining about not been able to make enough money off them when youtube changes things.
I know ghost recon breakpoint is not perfect, but expecting a movie academy award winning story in a game that depends on events and triggers is a just a naive idiots dream.
No matter which difficulty, AI doesnīt change except taking more hits and doing more damage.... they stay stupid and walk all together the same path to you, no matter how many enemies died there (even itīs already a pile of 30 bodies on a 1x1m square).Originally Posted by FinNapalm Go to original post
Or just turn off the generator and watch how the entire base walks up to the button in a beelinethis is so ridiculous it hurts.... 1 C4 and you cleared the base.
Ubisoft even coded the driving drones and tanks into hovercrafts (they have wheels like normal cars but they can float sideways twice as fast as they usually drive) because they knew the AI is so damn stupid and couldnīt handle a single object like rocks/trees or anything else with normal vehicle behavior!!!!
I know right... My friend said he needed 6 kills in one use of technique, I told him to turn off the power and leave a c4 lol. Dipsh1ts.Originally Posted by Aeecto Go to original post
Its not simply an issue with grind but that the game itself is so broken from the bad AI to the beautiful but boring world. The 'negative' discussions/comments about the game are due to the fact that when compared to its predecessor, Wildlands, Ghost Recon Breakpoint is a massive failure at every level.Originally Posted by Agent...Tex Go to original post
If you love the game that's great but most who played Wildlands do not like the changes made to Breakpoint. Breakpoint was supposed to be the successor to Wildlands and instead its a bastardization of Wildlands and The Division because someone at Ubisoft wanted it to sell more micr-transactions and the best way to do this is to build a game that makes players feel like they need that time-saver so the game is enjoyable and not a chore or grind as some call it.
Its great that you like the game and have gotten your moneys worth but you are in the minority. Compared to any previous Ghost Recon including Wildlands, Breakpoint is a failure and its easy to see this with both the critical reviews as well as those from non-critics. Yes many do like the game as it is but they ARE the minority.
That's an honest rebuttal, and I can respect it. In the case of this particular thread I thank many of us, and I can say many of with proof in the forums, that it's the reviewers we have a problem with, and not because of the content or correctness of points made in their reviews. It's because they are clickbait title-money-in-the-back-door-criticism-to-stir-up-more-clickbait crapmasters. We simply don't trust them. If they told us today was Wednesday (it is), not only would I check the calendar, I'd call a friend and make sure I was right. When one has to go to those lengths, someone, or a group, in my book cannot be trusted.
Bashing a game while the games ad comes on the screen. Master and slave, YouTube and reviewers.
Yeeeaaaahhh... I don't think you've played the game. While they do occasionally pull some dumb crap, the ai has been pretty solid and will flank the hell out of you on extreme. A crap ton better than the cheap trash we had in wildlands or did you forget about being sniped by a ********er from 200 yards away with dual Uzi's or them knowing your exact location after missing a shot from 400m away with a suppressed sniperOriginally Posted by Aeecto Go to original post
