Ok first of all, to address the people who always say they're an adult with a job so they dont get to play video games. All my friends online are adults with real jobs, been friends with them for years and some over a decade. They, as well as me, have 70-100 hours in all ready. Not that hard to do.
Secondly, when are we going to quit accepting the excuse of game makers not adding content to avoid things crashing? It's almost 2020, we should be driving flying cars but that's besides the point. Ubisoft and the game creators should have this system down by now, enough so to be able to add a single raid to play as soon as the game drops. With these kinds of games, players need a raid to have something to keep occupied with until new content is released. Especially the way they tease us by putting the raid NPC in the hideout and also giving us a mission telling us to start a raid. Plus, for us that have done pretty much everything in the game already, that's where most of the gear/weapon paint is. So the excuse of they are fixing all the bugs is absolute horse**** in my opinion, with any game. Yes I understand games will have bugs at first, but how much longer do us gamers have to suffer before a game is actually worth paying $60 for and being able to take it home and play on all the content that is advertised for the game?
On a final note, it's just way too easy to get through these games in a matter of weeks, compared to when games took months to complete. It seems like these adventure styled games are at times childish and pretty much the same game over and over. All these games such as Wildlands, Anthem, Destiny, The Division is pretty much the same game with different characters. Its run around the map and spend hours picking things up, have a boss or two to fight, go through gear like crazy, and wait a couple months for the next DLC. Meanwhile, I'm just going to buy another game and probably forget all about this one. I'm not saying this is the worst game by any means, theres a lot of stuff I liked such as personalization and customization concepts that were reinvented in this game. The graphics were decent, and I dont mind putting a grind in to explore the map. But most of the building and areas in the game look pretty much identical. Overall, I'm getting bored very quickly. Pvp is minimal entertainment, so the only thing left is the raids. Try to stick up for Ubisoft all you want, but I'm tired of playing the same game over and over.
