3 glads vs one guy, they can literally keep you stun locked with a toestab. You literally cannot move and are in constant recovery while gaining little revenge and getting your health demolished. You can say to just dodge or roll away and play around it and act like I don't know how to play the game but it is just not that simple. If you dodge one stab you are basically guaranteed to get bashed or toe stabbed out of the dodge. With revenge being nerfed to the ground they can still easily stun lock you while using it and the same problem exists.
There are no other characters in the game who can do this as effectively as toestab gives so little revvenge for how much damage it does and the fact it can interrupt revenge attacks

Any game based on balanced, but allowing a whole team to pick 1 hero is going to be problematic. Ubi is looking into limiting (Same Hero) picks, but were this game gets its Fame and Money has revenge OFF.
You get real EPIC Rewards in the modes revenge is off. Stop playing bogus broken game modes. Problem Solved. I got booted for AFK penalty just the other night for doing what my Hero description is supposed to do. Defending a Zone. Complain about real problems, jumping into game modes were its known to be unfair/broken/ and 100% gank fest with kill rotations about as stupid as it gets.

It obviously matters because there needs to be some sort of skill ceiling. I personally specialize in fending off ganks and drawing enemy attention in breach for example. Even with well coordinated teams I can be very hard to take out in a 4v1, providing my team with lots of uninterrupted time to sabotage/complete objectives. This obviously depends on hero comps and situation but gladiator is making this near impossible to do anymore as no brain is required to open up people in ganks without punishment. Most commonly gets used while I am dodging or parrying. Unlike most attacks I am noticing the toestab doesn't provide a damage stack debuff to the team so they all do full damage as well where is other bashes drop 30-80% of the follow up damage depending on the attack and the type of stun.Originally Posted by Gaser. At no point did people say glads toe poke is OP in 1v1. If you play duels only then you don't have much of a formulated opinion on 4v4 balance other than its broken.
The point is that glads toe poke is too effective in ganks and interrupts revenge attacks way too easily. That has nothing to do with 1v1s.
Obviously its gonna be changed but you wouldn't notice that in 1v1 so why are you whining about things that don't affect you?
People here are doing the hard work of coming up with solutions and trying to give feedback to the devs about their play styles. Redundant to try to mock them or give your closed minded opinion of the game when you only play 50% of it.
Currently Toe stab does 20 damage with haymaker. But only feeds 10 revenge. Shield basher (gives damage on shield bashes for certain heros) does give extra revenge with that extra damage.
What should be done is haymaker should be nerfed from doing 10 damage per bash to 5. And then have that extra 5 damage also give more revenge like shield basher does. Which means toe stab would deal 15 damage with haymaker and give 15 revenge. This is less than normal bashes as those usually give around 30 revenge. But that imo is too much revenge considering you follow up with a guaranteed attack usually and that's even more revenge. So bashes themselves should be brought down on how much revenge they feed. 15 to match toe stabs situation (post update) but if that's too low then maybe 20 would be better. But 30 is too high imo.
