This is mainly about the SMGs in Ghost War. A friend and I came across a squad all using MP5s or Bullpup PDRs. These two guns in PvP are extremely broken. The balancing mechanic is not well balanced with these two guns. In PvE they do 20-27 damage depending on how much upgrading you have done. Although when damage is adjusted for Ghost War they do 40-43 damage at 800 RPMs. To put this into perspective, one of the best M4A1 variants only does a max of 33 damage at 950 RPMs. Now yes the M4A1 is faster, but 7 damage is huge. Especially because these SMGs range can be better then any AR depending on your roll in weapons on demand. I tested this by roll until I got the most overpowered MP5 I could roll. After three rolls I got a gold teir MP5 it rolled with plus 30 range and plus 30 accuracy. I went into a few PvP matches to test my new weapon and I immediately killed to guys from our spawn. Mind you these guys were trying to snipe and I used over the shoulder aim. That's right, I didn't even aim down sights. I shot about 10 bullets from this over powered SMG and killed 2 enemies roughly 250ms away. Not at all balanced.
I bring this up in hope that Ubisoft sees this and fixes it fast. I have seen this in other games and developers take to long to change it and then lose a huge chunk of their players.
I enjoy PvP in Breakpoint. Yes there are small bugs or things to be tweek, but this weapon balancing is a huge issue. Hopefully it can be fixed sooner then later.
If not, I give it about 2 weeks after this post and MP5s and Bullpup PDRs will be meta.
