Ammo shouldn't reset in a bivouac.

It's mildly frustrating that the amount of carried ammunition resets to default, which isn't anywhere near maximum, every time I activate the bivouac. I get that the game is trying to ration ammunition which in turn forces the player to make choices, but if I've taken the risk and time to gather up maximum ammo, having all that taken away just because I choose to camp for the night is rather disheartening.

    Great suggestion! +1

I'll add; your ammo reserve shouldn't be taken when you quit out of the game either. It's really irritating to accumulate the ammo max for your weapons; turn off the game and comp for the night only to fire back up the next day and your screwed with the default ammo amounts!
