If u come from where i do, its not bishops finger, its a nuns delight

Seriously, the bishops finger pub is in canterbury, just near the westgate, and is where the beer originated. It is universally know as the nuns delight to all the locals!

    good pub to,

    cheers fruitbat

I stand corrected, I must have been thinking of Bombardier then.
By the way I'm sure that there is an ale called Lancaster Bomber, can anyone confirm this?

You know, I've got this annoying mental picture of a certain member entering a Limey pub and ordering a pint of 109. The look on the bartender's face is priceless.

Lancaster Bomber....I had some of that a while ago, I got it in a pub in Keswick. I wasn't impressed, but then again the pub was a sheet-hole like most of the pubs in Keswick, caught in a 1970s time warp unfortunately. A properly cellared and pulled pint may be much nicer.
