🛈 Announcement
Greetings! Ghost-Recon forums are now archived and accessible in read-only mode, please go to the new platform to discuss the game.

The only reason to loot those boxes Constantly would be to get a gear score to 150 in order to unlock the Raid element in the game. Otherwise, its Definitely Not needed to complete the game.
Now, as with Wildlands, if you want to change out optics or a few other weapon parts; or acquire a specific weapon without buying it with Skell credits, you'll have to travers the map, gather intel, and infiltrate camps/outposts. The game could be completed with the first three weapons you get your hands on and some stealth.
For what people in the forums were asking for. The Majority were cosmetic items, weapon variety, different vehicles and mission variations. Cosmetics: check. With tons more coming in Free updates. Weapon variety has changed. Vehicles are definitely different. Many people asked for Highly customizable input control menus and that is in there. Diving out of the way of incoming attacks: check. Blousing BDU pants: check. Picking up downed enemies and buddies: check.
Weapon customization was asked for in the vaguest of terms and we got the system in place now. Had we as consumers been more specific, we would have gotten a different mechanic. Specifically asking for things a gunsmith would do to optimize a weapon system is what Should have been ask for. eg porting a barrel, swapping barrel and bolt to change caliber, replacing hand guards with rails or vice versa, buffer springs, trigger assemblies, magwell flare, buttstock adjustments/changeouts.
For increasing weapon proficiency, maybe the more you use the specific weapon or complete shooting challenges with it, the accuracy, reload, and handling would get better and better.
Missions have become more Operation oriented instead of just a Fire Team with 100% accurate target location intel 100% of the time. They are much more realistic in that aspect. Hunting people is process. You have to talk to people, read documents (electronic or physical), travel to multiple locations, utilize every asset to gain an idea of the targets wants/needs/routines/family/friends and enemies. Rare occasions have the target you're looking for at the first location your initial intel drop gives you. Also, there are Main missions, Side missions, Faction Missions, Faction Support, coming soon are Raids. I'm probably forgetting one but each of those types has a variety of ways to be completed.
Instead of typing scathing reviews or comments with the intent of just being negative, more of the community should bring in solutions or at Least suggestions for a fix WITH their problems being 'voiced'or listed in a non emotional format. In other words, state the problems and then state probable solutions.
Do research into why or how the problems you find are happening. Be informed before sending your unhelpful opinions into the ether. Become a helpful part of the gaming community. Help the developers make games You want to own. They are not psychic.
    Thanks again for your time.

Breakpoint incorporated ideas from gamers, elements from RPG style games it's made, and whatever Division is. BREAKPOINT IS WHAT WE ASKED FOR.
I have yet to see anybody ask for the Looter Shooter and Gear has Levels mechanic. Breakpoint would be a better game without that since it would allow the survival aspects to be expanded without gear being a compensating factor.

I agree with that. The Raid missions could have been unlocked through an experience point level or any number of mission parameters. Other than unlocking the raid, I can only assume(which I dont like to do) the gear score system was added for busy work or some sort of personal accomplishment/bragging right. It was requested by Frequent players of Division. A game that I dont like for many reasons. The storyline is fine. The rest..not so much.

I'm having quite a bit of fun, but I never asked for this. I think its common knowledge that every game is going to be downgraded from its reveal and I can accept that, but saying that ANYONE asked for 2 or 3 games blended together into something that still has chunks is a bit much, even if it ends up working for some/a lot of people(I have no idea what the actual player count is).

The devs do deserve praise for doing their job, I also get the feeling the people feeling sour about this might not just be limited to the playerbase. However, if you want to see the negative side of playerbase thats completely bashing the game stop giving ubisoft **** and potentially start praising, you'll see it when everyone's complaints and suggestion are addressed and not just noted.

As someone who is enjoying this rollercoaster, I'm incredibly worried what they'll do going forward when this game is getting beatdown so hard because Anthem and 76 are fresh on my mind. Ubi probably will do fine considering Siege happened(and Patriots didnt) and the support for Wildlands was solid enough, I'm just not entirely reassured.

It does needed because you can't kill enemies that easily if their level is a bit higher than you while they can one shot you:3 The reason gear score has been brought to this game is because their greed. They are so greedy and want you to keep grinding for better and better items all the time. Not to mention those bullet spongy drones and robots...

Umm. No. Cosmetics haven't checked at all. I for example very cosmetic focused person in life, I even prioritize looking nice and having a nice looking weapon with nice accesories (Damn them they made my LVOA rifle instead of assault rifle which is insanely idiotic by the by:@@), I found cosmetics in this game even more limited than Wildlands and their bonuses are so truly insanely stupid. I truly like the look of MVG foregrip but for some reason I can't equip them to assault rifles..... Neither V3 vertical foregrips. Only thing I can equip is angel foregrip. Wtf is this. In Wildlands I was able to equip them all just fine. and those bonuses... Now tell me. Which foregrip can make your reload speed slower or make you move faster? Truly which vertical foregrip can do any of that? I mean even in Division they had proper and logical bonuses. And in the making of this game they claimed they got help from 2 real special ops soldiers........... It's just, wtf really.. Oh and, real weapons have more than 1 attachment slots on their reals. We shouldn't be restricted of using only 1.

Which takes an eternity... Can't sprint while carrying either. It's ok if we couldn't sprint like we normally do but we should be able to sprint at slower speed than normal or consume more stamina by doing so.

Well that's the thing. If you have a look, the community is full of suggestions. Which one of those got a reply by any of the staff? Do you know why people going so mad after some point with those suggestions? Because they keep seeing their own suggestions kept being suggesting by others and still nothing to be done with those suggestions.
You might want to say why people keep bombarding them with suggestions while their hands are full with fixes? Well like I said before, then release the game once you fix all the obvious bugs. No one expecting them to release a game fully bugless but if they just play it for an hour, they can see themselves those bugs because they are just super obvious. Then their hands won't be full and they can start listening "the community" and consider their suggestions. Make a sticky topic with the list of suggestions they accepted to do.

Help the devs. Alright. Just so so many people provided full logs what the support asked for and do you even have any idea how long it took for them to fix a god damn sound bug for Division 2? We are ready to provide whatever info they ask for and we do. Why wouldn't we? We didn't paid all that money to those games just to add our collections. We didn't pre ordered them just for a couple of worthless cosmetics. We did, because we wanted to enjoy the game. Have fun playing it. And many people are here would love to provide any info they ask. But, where are they? Hiding behind the shadows. That's their product so they have to ask us which problems we are experiencing and they have to come to forums and ask people which logs which files they require to troubleshoot issues. Not us. But strangely, we are the one going to support chats and keep explaining the issues to people know less than Jon Snow and keep sending whatever log they ask. We need actual devs to come here, read bug reports and ask us what informations they need.
