How do you counter Lawbringers that spam the bash? | Forums

I just don't know. Doesn't matter what you do, unblockable, undodgeable. He will dodge bash you everytime and start his chain
And it has no GB vulnerability, neither can it be punished, so what do you do against that turtle character?

It can only be punished with a dodge attack but I do know what you mean. I'm not sure why all bashes aren't guaranteed GB on whiff

Only way to punish it is to have a fast Dodge attack and predict the moove or have a Dodge into bash yourself.

LB has no recovery on his bash, its pretty insane at that point as no Dodge attack not being bash are working on a reaction Dodge..

So, if i remember well you play Cent and Shinobi. Maybe Shinobi kick is fast enough to got him i am not sure as i dont play him anymore since the hard nerf he got. With Cent there is nothing you can do about it except Dodge for nothing or trade.

Depends on matchup. I can punish it with my pk or bp on a read (dodge attack or bulwark counter), but some character can do nothing about it. They are the bad ones.

Having the faster dodge attacks in the game with good timing or having a dodge bash since LB's time to be able to dodge after doing a bash is very poor.

Lawbringer is just a fundamentally broken hero with the highest health pool in the game, 50 damage parry punishes, and a no recovery bash. My enjoyment of this game increased by orders of multitudes the minute I just started leaving matches with lawbringers or raiders.

His regular bash can be dodge attacked regularly, his chain bash could do with some an increased block recovery because very few dodge attacks can punish it. There is an unfair amount of work needed to whittle his hp down because he has the most hp WITH the highest parry punishes.
- Reduce his impale damage to 2 (32 damage heavy parry) OR only allow it on a light parry by slowing it down to 700ms+
- Reduce his Blind Justice damage to 28+12 (from 38+12) or lower
- Reduce his HP by 10 at least
- Increase the block recovery of his chain bash by 200ms

So I'm not the only one that seems to struggle against LB and his chain of bash and spam in a corner. I would really like to see the ability to dodge OUT of a chain be a thing, but alas it will never happen.
