Why are there more players playing PVE/PVP in The Division 1 vs The Division 2 | Forums

Most of the player's I've asked in the DZ, told me that PVP is much more fun in TD1.

Also, they like the Missions, Survival Mode, etc.

Could just be less servers, so more people are pushed into fill up those servers so it seems as if more players are playing the old content.

The way the TD1 is set up vs TD2 might make it look like that !
Let me explain:
I play with a friend from Turkey and whenever we were in the Terminal in TD1 we would be in the same server ALWAYS but when TD2 came out we are not in the same server, that is due to increased number of servers (and the Devs announced that before TD2 was live)
So in that case you see more movement in TD1 than in TD2 and just to emphasize that the number of players per server is decreased so that contributes to it .

Now to clarify things: I DO NOT MEAN THAT THERE ARE NO PEOPLE WHO ENJOY DIVISION 1 PVP!
It is just that the number playing each game should differ in favor of TD2 .
